November 30, 201213 yr Could chart higher than it did on sunday then (or become a NON-Mover) Thanks :) It seems quite surprising that after McFly plummeted 10-31, a chart run like that would have suggested a guaranteed disapearance from the top 40 the following week a few years ago. Proves how downloads can still help tracks like these stabilise even when the track has an almighty fall like this one had last week.
November 30, 201213 yr where is robbie´s album? it seems people are buying the single more than the album!
November 30, 201213 yr The Script creeping in at #40 with 'Six Degrees of Seperation' = the best piece of news from the update. Fingers crossed it can hold on/climb by Sunday, it's too good a track to miss out on a T40 placing (a la "Nothing" from their last album, which peaked at #42).
November 30, 201213 yr Alicia holding steady at #14 is good. She'll be performing on US X-factor tonight (gets ~1 million viewers I think), so maybe that will help push her up a bit more, or at least guarantee a second week at #5 for "Girl On Fire"! :) Edited November 30, 201213 yr by Envoirment
November 30, 201213 yr Author Imagine Dragons still have 2 tracks in the 40, hmm... not too sure what's happening there, are they really charting separately. It seems odd.
November 30, 201213 yr Author where is robbie´s album? it seems people are buying the single more than the album! #8, sorry I should have added that to the update, its the chart format its so different to what I'm use to. Added now.
November 30, 201213 yr Seems sales between the 30-50 in the chart must be extremely close - The Scripts new one sneaking into the top 40 - Pink up as high as 26 - does this have an ep. Setting up well for the XF performance - and the pogues and Mariah easily in there. There should be a big jump from them next week then they usually stabilise the week before xmas before a further surge up to xmas day before its bye bye for another 11 months!!
November 30, 201213 yr For Kylie fans #35 Album For Little Mix fans #12 Single, #13 Album For GA fans #14 Single Any others just fire away. How did Little Mix randomly jump ahead of Girls Aloud on the single chart?
November 30, 201213 yr Author How did Little Mix randomly jump ahead of Girls Aloud on the single chart? That should be #16 oops, its the damn chart format.
November 30, 201213 yr Murs is bossing the charts Source: MW by Paul Willams Bruno Mars and Rihanna's singles are heading back into the UK top three after being performed on The X Factor, but they will not catch Olly Murs. Heading the race, Epic act Olly Murs featuring Flo Rida's Troublemaker is currently ahead by around 11,000 sales and should secure a second week at No 1 on Sunday. Murs is also leading the artist albums midweeks as he looks to simultaneously head both main sales charts for the first time in his career. The newly-issued Epic album Right Place Right Time was nudging 90,000 sales by the end of business on Thursday and should safely accumulate a six-figure sales number by the end of the week, :yahoo: Not only has Olly done the double but he is on course for high sales for both! He's already sold more albums than Robbie sold in his first week. Edited November 30, 201213 yr by BuzzLightyear
November 30, 201213 yr Imagine Dragons still have 2 tracks in the 40, hmm... not too sure what's happening there, are they really charting separately. It seems odd. The 4-track EP is called "Hear me" and this is also track No 1. So all sales of the EP + the individual DL of the song "Hear me" are counted together. "Radioactive" is the most cherrypicked song from the EP - it's sales are high enough to go Top 40. It not being contibuted to the EP sales makes sense, as cherypicked songs from an album also count toward the singles charts.

Proves how downloads can still help tracks like these stabilise even when the track has an almighty fall like this one had last week. I think in this case it's more to do with promotion starting a week too late.

Fingers crossed it can hold on/climb by Sunday, it's too good a track to miss out on a T40 placing (a la "Nothing" from their last album, which peaked at #42). Yeah, Six Degrees of Separation needs to be much higher! Really hope it holds on.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Try has an EP out this week. I'm hoping the X Factor performance will make this go Top 10, fingers crossed!
