November 28, 201213 yr Alicia only #14?! Deserves higher, a brilliant album. Little Mix not doing as well as I thought they would be... I'm surprised. I thought they'd be the girl group version of 1D. DNA (single) only 1 week top 10, and now the album straight down to #12 from #3... hopefully it can climb back up? November 28, 201213 yr There album is down to #12 from #3 encore :( Seriously?! Oops I must have misread it then. 12 is not good. :( Hopefully it can claw it's way back up thanks to Xmas sales? All the groups right now seem to be underperforming in some form. Edited November 28, 201213 yr by Encore
November 28, 201213 yr Big drop for Girls Aloud in the singles but number 4 for them in the albums is great. Im thrilled Kylie is top 35 after i was fed a nasty rumour of her plummeting to outside the top 50. Surprised Alicia Keys is not higher in the album chart.
November 28, 201213 yr Wednesday Update Top 40 Only Source: Radio 1/OCC Top 40 Singles 31-40 38 The Pogues/Kirsty MacColl Xmas is really here! :cheer: :yahoo:
November 28, 201213 yr People not buying Little Mix's album is their lost, it's a fantastic album
November 28, 201213 yr Author Seriously?! Oops I must have misread it then. 12 is not good. :( Hopefully it can claw it's way back up thanks to Xmas sales? All the groups right now seem to be underperforming in some form. Most of tne new albums have pushed last week's entries down, its more of a commom thing lately, Led Zep, Subo.
November 28, 201213 yr Imagine Dragons with two in the top 40 :D I have a feeling "Hear Me" will drop out though given it's so reliant on EP sales. Had those been included with "Radioactive" it could have gone top 20, but then at least this way it allows them to be on the Sound of 2013 shortlist and give "It's Time" a boost. Would be nice if "Radioactive" could do a "Do It Like A Dude" and be a slow burner.
November 28, 201213 yr Olly Murs on 60k with his album :D So One Direction on 30k - would be cool if could do another week over 100k, although I'm expecting over 80k at the least.
November 28, 201213 yr Hmm, not what I expected from Olly at this point. I think he will just sell over 100k.
November 28, 201213 yr i thought Olly would've sold 85k by now at least, such a disappointment given that 'Troublemaker' is his biggest hit ever... Edited November 28, 201213 yr by Big Mistake
November 28, 201213 yr Excellent to see Wires in the top 40, I always liked it but it wasn't until a couple of years ago when I really took note of it and what it's about that it properly clicked. Simply stunning.
November 28, 201213 yr People don't think Olly can double the 60k until Saturday? I still think he can break the 120k...
November 28, 201213 yr i thought Olly would've sold 85k by now at least, such a disappointment given that 'Troublemaker' is his biggest hit ever... Everything is disappointing for you unless something sells 1mio copies in 1 day :D
November 28, 201213 yr People don't think Olly can double the 60k until Saturday? I still think he can break the 120k... I think he will sell less during the weekdays and pick up some sales at the weekend. I predict his sales will go like: Mon: 40k Tue: 20k (60k) Wed: 10k (70k) Thu: 10k (80k) Fri: 15k (95k) Sat: 15k (110k) Edited November 28, 201213 yr by øbscure
November 28, 201213 yr Wow. I was thinking Alicia was going to debut very well, but apparantley not. However, her sales should be quite good. #14 sold 20k last week, so if she remains steady or even climbs, I can see her selling 25k+. Really disappointing still though. :(
November 28, 201213 yr Alicia debuted at #17 in 2009 after an X-Factor performance as well (and Doesn't Mean Anything went to #8) and then it didn't peak until February 2010 when it went to #1. Not saying the same will happen again but Alicia should be fine with this. Her album should sell consistantly even if it's outside the top 15.
