I agree with Grami, I don't mind 'The Power Of Love' and it's far more bearable than Charlene Soraia but it is rather bland, it's not an ideal #1 but I just want SOMETHING to prevent Bruno Mars ever getting there with this, so I'm rooting for it this week.

This might go top 20 after all then - I kind of hope it doesn't as its chart run is insane for a non-top 20 hit at the moment.

Random huge jump for this after stalling outside the top 100 for ages. Bit of a comedown from his last single going top 10 even if it's one of the most forgettable top 10 hits of the year.

 93. Die Young (Parody) - The Midnight Beast

Parodying Ke$ha again? :P

Tik Tok was such an outrageous song for so many reasons (HEAVY autotune, computer game instrumental, white female rapping, cultural references, ripping off about 5 other songs, very trashy music video, etc.), it's quite easy to do a funny parody it, but Die Young is much less eventful, I can't really see what you'd do really, Die Young is so "normal". I guess I'll have to listen to it lol.

Also, anybody remember where We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Love Story peaked on iTunes?

I have no idea about Love Story, but I'm fairly sure WANEGBT reached as high as #3 on iTunes at one point.

Looks like Bruno has got a bit of a lead over Gabrielle :( a bit of a shame Gabrielle losing out now.

I remember WANEEGBT at #3 but no higher, that was it's peak I'm pretty sure.

I'm sure Love Story probably got to #1 briefly, or very near, since it was very close between it and My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson for the #1 that week (love both songs, but the right one won imo)

That was probably the best top 2 in recent years to be honest.

I think 'Love Story' actually peaked at #1 on iTunes. I think it knocked 'My Life Would Suck Without You' off of number 1 late tuesday/early wednesday. I could be wrong though!

What an abbreviation

Dammit, Mud out of the top 100 and Bieber re-overtaking Coldplay's higher version (although their second version has shot back up again so maybe that's why the top version dropped behind again).

'The Power of Love' is currently 49p on Amazon, so hopefully that can help Gabrielle secure the #1!

726. The X Factor 2012 Winner - Winner's Single (Pre-order)

I can remember that it reached top 10 on pre-orders last year, but of course that was in the albums chart.

It might - if it hadn't already been 49p for days...

How on earth can you pre-order something when you know neither the song, or the singer?

Well, it's #1 on Amazon so for all we know it could be making the difference however small Amazon's market share is.

Well it seems some people do!

Good to see Darlene Love's All Alone On Christmas in there  one of my favourites ^_^

Any sign of Stacey Solomon's Driving Home For Christmas  I prefer that one.

It's a shame the Darkness & Pretenders Christmas songs don't do as well :(

Maybe the person likes all of finalists so would have buy it no matter who wins, or maybe this year because it is for charity, people are pre-ordering for the cause, not the song.

What's the charity - 'Down & Out former XF Winners'?
