January 22, 201312 yr Last nights was mainly great, but I agree it seems so forced :( Plus, it has gone from being slightly unbelievable to ridiculously so.
January 22, 201312 yr I think this was actually one of my least favourite episodes to date :o Still pretty hilarious but not as much so as others. I agree as well it felt a bit shoehorned in, I think the best bit was either Penny's coat stand, 'IS GARY BARLOW/THEO PATHITIS HERE' or when Penny was speaking French to Raymond Blanc
January 24, 201312 yr The only thing I dislike about this show is cheesy endings / moments. I'm like CRIIIIIINGE everytime something super cheesy happens. Like GARY BARLOW cameo. I mean COME AWN that was really unnecessary. He can't act to save his LIFE.
January 25, 201312 yr The way he separated Miranda and Stevie at the end so he could be CENTRE STAGE.
January 30, 201312 yr That was easily the best episode I have seen. I didn't laugh out loud the whole time but the scripting and timing is getting better.
January 30, 201312 yr Amazing finale for an amazing series. I'd be happy if that did end up as the final episode, even though that ending was absolutely PAINFUL.
January 30, 201312 yr Author The episode was of course AMAZING with too many moments to count! I'll be absolutely devastated if that's the end of the show forever! It didn't feel as over-the-top as the previous episode, which was good to see. I loved Miranda's return to the hotel and the airport scenes were hilarious. We've got to wait until October for the boxset though! :(
January 30, 201312 yr Monday's wasn't as funny as previous episodes but if that is it from The Miranda Show, I will miss it for sure!
January 30, 201312 yr Surely they can't just completely leave it like that? :o that said, I did feel the ending was a bit too silly but the whole episode was fantastic and my favourite of series. The restaurant, aeroplane and the fact Gary missed the train, only for Miranda to be on the wrong one!
January 30, 201312 yr Oh God, again I find myself feeling rather disappointed and frustrated at that episode. She tries to pack far too much into 30 minutes these days - the emotional moments weren't nearly as emotional as they should have been, which meant the funny bits felt out-of-place and rushed and fell quite flat. I hope with the next series she takes it back to basics and slows the whole thing down. It's not a soap after all.
January 30, 201312 yr I assume that was the last ever episode? At least I kind of hope it was and it can at least stop while it still has 60% of the class of series 1 and 2.
January 31, 201312 yr Oh God, again I find myself feeling rather disappointed and frustrated at that episode. I've felt that about this whole series. It's all been good fun but I've been watching the first 2 on DVD and there has definitely been a decline in quality. I feel as if she is literally jumping from one gag to another and not giving time for them to sink in. Some also feel forced. I know everyone here raved about 'plunge my crack' but other than sounding funny, it didn't really belong because no one, not even Miranda in series 1 or 2, would ever say something like that even by accident. It felt 'I'm going to say this' and then all of a sudden she's like 'oops, shouldn't have said that'. Just one example. As I said, I have enjoyed it, but I do feel things will need to slow down next series,
February 1, 201312 yr Miranda has said there will probably be a 4th series, but it won't be until late 2014. She's touring all next year and has a few other stuff lined up.
February 1, 201312 yr Surely she'll at least do a Christmas special, perhaps Christmas at Gary/Michael's family's house?! She has to choose Gary though.
February 2, 201312 yr Author Miranda has said there will probably be a 4th series, but it won't be until late 2014. She's touring all next year and has a few other stuff lined up. Fantastic! :D I'm going to see her in March 2014(!) so it's good to know that it's not the end of the TV version of herself :D
December 9, 201410 yr Author Given how much of a hit the third series was with Buzzjack and in general, I'm surprised nobody has posted this. It was confirmed in September that there will be two special episodes (to be aired on Christmas Day and New Year's Day) and then Miranda will be over for good :( There's no trailer for the episodes yet but there are brief clips shown in the BBC One Christmas period advert: M3XgKSRpOf4
