Wow, the hate towards Tulisa is unreal :o

I do like Tulisa, and her singles, although it is quite obvious why she's the most googled person this year. :P

I am quite surprised that the album is low Top 40. I know the Christmas sales will mean it will sell about 10k this week, but I would have thought Top 20, especially if Dappy sold 12k first week, surely Tulisa could have done double that with X Factor and a bigger number one single?

I like Tulisa's album. I think she released the wrong songs to promote it and the title is a bit naff but it's not a terrible album at all.

Tulisa's album is FANTASTIC, and this is coming from someone who thinks N-Dubz are crap. Do not get the hate towards her at all.
I'm glad that Tulisa is flopping hard, she is so unlikeable and it serves her right that her latest efforts are flopping, she thought she was all that because she got to #1 with young and was the winning judge last year on X Factor, so she thought she could do a Cheryl but three things she doesn't have is 1. Likability 2. Talent 3. Stage Presence. She lacks a lot, I think her as a judge has done her more damage then good.

I don't think she'd have been given the opportunity to release a solo album without X-Factor.

What a hot mess of a thread this is

Looking from where Tulisa has come from (forming a band aged 13 after being brought up around violence, bullying, drug abuse, depression, poverty etc), i'm pretty sure she'll be fairly happy with a top 20 album, after going solo, especially now the three of them have made names for themselves.

The hate towards her is just ridiculous, and i haven't seen it like this towards any over person. I can't really understand it, but i guess whatever makes people feel better and all that.

Let's not worry, at least we can be sure her album is #1 in the shoplifting chart.

Probably the stupidest, most ignorant post i've ever read on Buzzjack

Ive no particular love of Tulisa or her music (apart from her good looks, but that doesnt affect my musical tastes) but this topic makes me feel sorry for her!
She clearly is 'something'. "Young" is one of the best selling songs of the year.

Is it? It's not in the top 20 of the year.

It's #31, I think. Not 100% sure. It's still sold well for a woman who is basically hated. ^_^

Good news for Tulisa: singles data WAS wrong & it is now at No.12 in midweeks. Bad news is that the album is only No.22. #tulisa #charts

What are the chances of Angel being top 40 with 'Time After Time'?

#22? Oh dear. :(

It's going to be really hard for her to justify a spot on the X Factor panel next year. I mean if I was a contestant, I wouldn't be able to have the same respect for her as I would Gary, Louis (he can manage a boyband to #1 despite being a twit on live shows) or even Nicole. Yes she got to #1 with Young - but would that have done as well if it's lyrical content didn't so happen to mirror what was happening at the time.

Sad to say, but Rachel Stevens would be a better choice for X Factor judge.

And if the album and single are starting to sink already then I think she's going to find it hard to get a top 20 single and a top 30 album by the end of the week

It's pretty obvious she isn't returning next year. :(

oh dear,

so after another day of sales the album falls down 5places :o.

Wonder if it will even manage to stay top 30!

Dannii's single that she released on the X Factor missed the top 40, and it didn't do too much harm to her X Factor career, even with Louis sniping about it on live shows
I kinda blame X Factor for this in a way though. I think last year Simon Cowell was mooting around thinking, "I can make stars out of the contestants, I made a national treasure out of a judge, I'm gonna make another star out of a judge" looked around at who is fairly popular in the UK scene at that moment in time - but without being too big and saw Tulisa. The idea being that the X Factor would catapult her into the same level as Cheryl. Sadly it's backfired and it's a little unfair on Tulisa as she was never in the level of what an X Factor judge should be and on her point of view, saw a break and took it - LIKE WE ALL WOULD
