Wow, already #29? :o Would be great if she could possibly repeak, even just by one or two places!

Shontelle is only #119 for me, but I hope she can get top 40 once again! :D

 

EDIT: I have it at #29 too now,, my feed was slow updating! :kink: I hope Shontelle can get back in the top 10!

I think T-Shirt is by far her best though.

I hope it can get a new peak, just so it's not all bad news for her and she doesn't have to watch it happen with sadness and say "it used to be me".

Nah, 'Impossible' is BY FAR Shontelle's best song. 'Perfect Nightmare' and 'T-Shirt' take silver and bronze respectively.

 

'Licky', on the other hand, luckily died on arrival. Horrendous song.

 

Anyway, I hope this goes top 5. If not for the song to have huge success, then for it to become her highest-peaking single.

What royalties? She doesn't have any writing credits on it...

I doubt Shontelle will get that many royalities if any (from James' version). She didn't write, produce or mix the song. But either way, so glad to see it back :wub:

Yeah, the only way she'll get any royalties from this is if a clip of the original version of the song was used on X Factor (I wasn't watching, so I don't know).

This reminds me of how many good songs she has! Impossible is easily her best I agree, but Perfect Nightmare, Evacuate My Heart, Stuck With Each Other, T-Shirt, Battle Cry and shamefully Licky are all SO good too.

I see 'Licky' as nothing more than a lame attempt at jumping on the GaGa bandwagon. And I'm not one to see GaGa as the pioneer of all music. :lol:

 

'Battle Cry' is nice too. Never had any time for SWEO. Again, I saw it as the tramp version of RiYo's 'Hate That I Love You'.
