December 15, 201212 yr Amazing track - Should have been the follow up to 'Young' :drama: Tulisa and Dappy have both had some poor single choices but some banging album tracks I wish Yin Yang was Dappy's 2nd single. Rockstar was just an inferior version of No Regrets basically. Yin Yang's flopping as a 4th single, but if he released it 2nd I think it would've been big, since it's by far his catchiest song, and it would've got a lot more radio support following No Regrets.

Love 'Yin Yang' - Releasing that as the 2nd single could have set the album up to be huge, Also 'Come With Me' from his album is one of my most listened to tracks of the year and im still not bored of it - Am sure that could have been a huge hit too. AATW are well known for f*cking up artists and releases though so im not surprised :(
December 15, 201212 yr Lighnting Bolt is being re-released on Christmas Eve and is bound to feature in various Olympic round-ups. Jake Bugg is also on Jools Holland's Hootenanny so all those factors could combine to give the album a boost. It hasn't fallen as fast as some number ones. He dropped out of the top 40 a couple weeks ago but has remained just outside and is a re-entry in the Friday update. He certainly hasn't disappeared without trace in the way some people thought. It hasn't held up awfully compared to some other 2012 #1s (Elton, Marina, Newton), but 1-3-11-22-31-37-43 is not exactly a super impressive run for a #1 either (although of course it climbed back to #41 last week and is likely to re-enter the top 40 this week). I thought that an artist of his type would hold up a lot better than that, like Mumford & Sons / Ben Howard although to be fair neither of those had brilliant starts either. I don't doubt that Jake will recover majorly in 2013, Hootenanny should be a major boost for him.
December 15, 201212 yr With the release of 'Here With Me', I do hope 'Battle Born' by The Killers can take advantage of the sales and what not! Deserves to sell the album and propel it to over 300k/350k.
December 15, 201212 yr I think Taylor Swift will start to have a much better chart run January onwords and depending on the promo/airplay of Glassheart Leona Lewis might actually get better sales!
December 15, 201212 yr I'd love to see Xtina's Lotus return to the chart but can't see it. Not surprising, since you have to look all the way down to #185 to find it at the moment... :P I agree with those who mentioned Ellie G's 'Halcyon' - her first album also took a long time to really get noticed, at least in terms of steady sales.

His chart run so far is excellent, I think. Three weeks ago it was two places below Muse and 7 behind the Killers, last week it was 8 and 6 infront, so it's holding up better than albums by much bigger acts that were released around the same time. I was expecting his album to fall right to the bottom of the top 75/100 by Christmas, the fact it's climbing in the top 40 before Christmas really is excellent and very promising for the new year.
