'Clown' top 10? Jeeeesus. :o There was me last week doubting it would exceed its existing #35 peak.

 

Such a shame 'My Kind Of Love' (aka the best one) couldn't do this as well. :(

Don't get me wrong, I like Clown but it really just sounds like an album track, not a hit at all! But good on Emeli, overexposed or not she's a huge talent and deserves all the success :wub:

As much as I think Emeli is a great singer (London Olympics Opening Ceremony aside where she sounded dreadful), 'Clown' is one of the most mind numbingly boring songs I've heard over the last couple of months. It just goes nowhere and I've yet to listen to the track in its entirety. Maybe it's gets going in the last 30 seconds or something but if that's the case, it's too little too late.

 

We won't be seeing much of Emeli in 2013? The Brit Awards 2013 will be the obvious exception then. :kink:

No unfortunately Rihanna has a second version of Stay at #99.

Half of the top 10 are post-album singles right now (Taylor, Rihanna, Calvin, 1D and Emeli). That may or may not be something that happens all the time, I don't think it is though.

 

Yay at 'Troublemaker' returning to the top 10, would have preferred 'Clique' to get in there but that or 'Ho Hey' would both be good anyway.

I'd be annoyed if "Clown" got top ten after "My Kind of Love" failed to. Still, I'm glad that Emeli's getting some success. She's been such a flop recently :(

I think even if Clown goes top 10 it might not match My Kind of Love's sales. Although I like both, so I don't really care which does better really.
