I know right... about time it became a massive radio hit! For a song that's been hanging around in the 30s and 40s on iTunes, it's really not gone higher than the 80s on the BB100.

Fantastic :o Even after the X Factor performance sent it to #1 in the UK I didn't expect the boost to be quite that significant, it's already been used in almost every episode this season. :lol:

Ellie at 8 now.... this is looking like a big hit. Even "Anything can happen" didn't have this kind of 1st week iTunes perf.

I'm just hoping radio pick up on it quick enough. Her airplay is non-existent at the mo.

I can't believe Ellie is in the top 10! None of her other songs charted this high when first released did they? :o I suppose the only pre-album single since 'Lights' was 'Anything Could Happen' but I don't think that went top 10. I wonder why 'Burn' is doing so well!

As far as I remember, 'Anything Could Happen' stalled outside the top 40 upon initial release. That was a lot less commercial / had less buildup than 'Burn' though, and 'Burn' also has the advantage of following up 'I Need Your Love'. Still, it's doing great, so let's hope Radio don't kill it like they killed ACH <_<

Agree, radio needs to get on pronto. But it's still a great compliment for a relatively new artist like Ellie to stay in the top 10 for more than 2 days now!

 

Also for those of you that caught Labrinth's AGT perf - was it mimed or real? Because the perf sounded bloody fantastic to me!
