Another week where there's sod all I'm interested in out, that Frightened Rabbit song is the best and that just sounds like Biffy Clyro when they make a shit rock-ballad.

I love Ellie and find her so underrated really. Both of her albums have been fantastic. I've loved all of her singles so far, but my favourites are probably 'Figure 8' and 'Lights'. 'Halcyon' is a great album, I particularly like 'Joy', 'Explosions', 'Hanging On', 'My Blood' and 'Only You' as well as the singles. I'd love her to get a #1 single one day and I agree she needs more exposure, albeit not too much like Sandé or else I'll get sick of her

I hope 'Brand New Me' continues to climb, such a personal single from Alicia! Her performance the other night was amazing too. Hope this could end up going top 10 but I think we might have to settle for top 20.

Spoilers aren't allowed on this website?
Eek, will.i.am looking like he could return to #1 this week unless Bingo Players recover after the weekend effect :drama:

Nope, spoilers aren't allowed in any form.

Aww! :( I adore the Frightened Rabbit song, I hope that it can eventually become a relatively successful song.

And I was explaining that to the poster who posted the spoilers, Ben.

Oops sorry, I see now a post was deleted :P

VERY LATE but My Blood is definitely my favourite song of Halcyon and I wish it was that that was following the two singles as that would make a perfect trio. I'm a bit of a flop fan as I don't remember how Explosions sounds, and I loved the album! I'm sure I will remember it when I listen again, Glad she's doing well though, I also echo the mourning of Figure 8, I still maintain it *was* a good single choice - I guess it was just released at a busy period with very little promo. Ho hum. I do wonder how it would've done as the lead single though, it sounds a lot like 'Ellie-esque' than Anything Can Happen, but maybe too different?

And that is pretty much the only thing I'm interested in this week. Deathly dull week - I'm pretty scared to listen to Missiles...

Enter at your own risk (lol):

Oh god, do we need ANOTHER boyband? I knew there'd been a revival but I didn't realise we were back in the 1990's.

It sounds like someone started off writing a ballad-ish track and changed their mind halfway through to make it a generic 'club banger'.

OMG, those lyrics and production :o Incredible! I hope it can climb higher, kudos to them for coming up with something different!

Both "Thrift Shop" (#12) and "Let It Roll" (#14) are heading for the T10 - the former has really picked up recently; having jumped 81-24 officially. If Flo Rida can manage it, that'll be 5 consecutive T10 singles as a lead artist, 6 if you chuck "Troublemaker" in there too; what an era for him!

I'm all for "Scream & Shout" returning to #1 this week, "Get Up (Rattle)" is dire - much prefer the instrumental original. Hoping Taylor Swift can fall a bit and let Rihanna (#4) and Calvin Harris (#5) re-peak this week too.

Ew. Why are people downloading that Emeli tripe over RiRi's masterpiece?

195. Julio Bashmore - Au seve

They really need to do a remix of this like they did with Rattle, I think it would go #1. It's been as huge in clubs as Rattle was.

Really? Can't say I've ever heard it out. "Rattle" on the other hand I was hearing very frequently as early as September.

Ew. Why are people downloading that Emeli tripe over RiRi's masterpiece?

I do actually find it strange that both 'Stay' and 'Clown' were performed on the X Factor final and yet 'Stay' entered at #4 whereas 'Clown' only managed #35, and yet now 'Clown' has come up to overtake it. I wonder what was more slow burning about 'Clown' for people than 'Stay'..
