I dunno It's pretty crazy to consider I've been in the contest for 10 years (close to 11 at this point) - I still plan to belatedly celebrate that with an entry countdown once I stop procrastinating lol. But seriously, over a third of my life! putting it into perspective - I was 19 when Trifoski first debuted, not long after officially becoming an "adult".....fast forward to now where I'm still trucking along as a 30 year old "adult", my my how some things never change... For as long as I've been taking part the question occasionally popped into my head....how long would we be doing this for? probably as long as the contest continues right? See the thing is- even if Trifoski decided to call it a day at some point (for whatever reason), how does that play out? everyone pretends to cry, we send the biggest no-hoper entry imaginable and that's it right.......but what if we caved in a few months later like "nah i actually wanna keep sending songs"? that whole big farewell would look a bit silly wouldn't it lmao. There's no reason for bringing this up btw, just a thought x Y'know what I *really* want though? what sounds really good right about now? I want.......a BJSC country - just like, a normal BJSC country where I can just find a song, send it in, see what happens and move on to the next.....without trying to craft some convoluted story arc or narrative around everything? I just wanna play in an online song contest without being all quirky about it - that can't be too much to ask! Cos what's happened is I've been at it so long.......I lost control of the narrative, and now it's swallowed Trifoski whole....... like all this shit from the past several months.....what is even going on??? how could it possibly make sense to anyone else........and you wanna know the dumbest part? December 26, 20231 yr Author cw // teeth, slight blood, dentists :S I brush my teeth, and look in the mirror and laugh out loud as I'm beaming from ear to ear I'd rather pick flowers instead of fights and rather flaunt you my style I'd flash you a smile of pearly clean whites (it doesn't hurt me every day so i just let it get away, i'll deal with it another day...) (....i guess that day just never came) I've been to the dentist a thousand times, so I know the drill... I smooth my hair, sit back in the chair but somehow I still get the chills "have a seat ;-)" they say pleasantly and they shook my hand, and practically laughed at me "open up nice and wide :0" they said peering in and with a smirk they said "don't have a fit, this'll just pinch a bit~!" as they try not to grin I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I GOTTA GET RID OF THIS TOOTH I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I GOTTA GET RID OF THIS TOOTH I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I GOTTA GET RID OF THIS TOOTH I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I GOTTA GET RID OF THIS TOOTH and i know.... it's so hard to let you go i promise you honest i tried my hardest I TRIEDDDD I BRUSHED EVERY DAY I GAVE IT ALL AWAY I WANTED THIS TO WORK I DID I DID GOODBYEEEEEEEEE (goodbye....)
