Yeah let's have more shite old songs in the charts - that will help the music industry.

I don't really see how it is detrimental to the music industry..

One Example song I think could've been massive in the charts with more promotion was Natural Disaster (and Game Over :kink:).

Natural Disaster was good, but I couldn't really see it being much of a hit. From that album, I think Skies Don't Lie or Anything might've done well if they were released

I thought it was going to be big because it's like Miami 2 Ibiza, but I don't think Example has ever had a massive post-album single before.

The four songs mentioned quite frankly piss over most of the current chart so I can't see why that's so bad.

I thought you don't have iTunes on your computer. :P

I think you misread it or it was just an error on iTunes. Sometimes it does happen, some songs are shown as 59p but they are are already put back to 99p.

I looked at the "top 100" list on the first page of this thread and i saw it at #98 so i clicked on the song and it said "pre-order"

Remember that Natural Disaster was a Laidback Luke single featuring Example. :P So I guess Example's management don't get much of a say in whether it gets released or not because it's not his single.

"Midnight Run" as his third single, should've done a lot better than it did but Example's post-album singles have never done brilliantly. :( They probably didn't bother with another single after that because of it's floppage.

"Natural Disaster" being included on Example's album totally screwed up the release for it :( If it was held back and released properly it could've gone at least top 20, I was expecting a Miami 2 Ibiza style success for it at the time until that happened.

Little Mix teetering at #11 all week is driving me crazy.

Miami 2 Ibiza was on Tinie's album too, but they released it the week after Written in the Stars and the week before Tinie's album came out iirc. Maybe they should've timed it like that for Natural Disaster.

 12. Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie (feat. JAY Z)

 14. Ellie Goulding - Explosions

 19. Lawson - Learn to Love Again

 53. Zedd - Clarity (feat. Foxes)

Ellie Goulding always seems to climb at this time of the day before plummeting during the day. Zedd really needs to keep on climbing, It is a must top 40 hit!
272. Atomic Kitten - Whole Again

193. 911 - Bodyshakin'

907. 911 - A Little Bit More

Thanks!

Im not surprised Bodyshakin is the highest 911 song on the chart, it was the song that got mentioned the most on the ITV 2 programme.

Seems like that big reunion is nowhere near having as much effect as last week.

14. Ellie Goulding - Explosions

15. Rita Ora - Radioactive

22. The Fray - How To Save A Life

27. Nickleback - How You Remind Me (This should go top 40 this week also)

30. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved (I Think if this remains top 40 until Saturday (iTunes) it should sneak top 40 officially)

36. Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man

37. Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie (Could see this being around #41-45 this week)

56. £1 Fish Man - One Pound Fish

61. Amelia Lily - Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got) 2 Weeks top 40 during this quiet period is quite awful.

73. Pink - Just Give Me A Reason

90. Example - Perfect Replacement

23. The Fray - How To Save A Life

27. Nickleback - How You Remind Me

32. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved

36. Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie

The 59p boost really can be incredible sometimes :o.

 27. When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars

 43. Indian Summer - Stereophonics

 64. Just Give Me a Reason - P!nk [also #184]

 73. Perfect Replacement - Example

 160. Why Am I the One - fun.

 177. Army of Two - Olly Murs

Indeed. A sale is a sale and as such helps the music industry.

Whether it's detrimental to the charts is different and is of course a matter of opinion.....

 29. Started from the Bottom - Drake

Yay for a prompt release (although it usually is for Young Money artists I guess). Surprising to see this doing so well when it's not top 10 yet in the USA! Not yet listened to this but will do soon.
