Given that Stereophonics could end up reaching the top 40 for the first time in many years, wouldn't it be hilarious if their sound-alike band, Toploader, also shot up the chart with their new single?

 

A) No, and it won't happen.

Toploader?! I haven't heard anything about them since they disbanded over 10 years ago.

 

The only two new releases that will make any sort of impact are Avicii who I hope can be #1, but may have to miss out and Gabrielle Aplin who will be #7.

I think Rita Ora is on Graham Norton next week (meh), with Ke$ha on the Jonathan Ross show (:yahoo:), so both should climb significantly.

 

Fully supporting Macklemore getting a second week :cheer:

Gabrielle's EP isn't actually showing up on iTunes for some reason. I think it's been re-uploaded as its formatting was still from the old version of iTunes, hopefully it'll all sort itself out soon!

Hopefully she (or are they a group?) will get a hit if they release their song with Icona Pop. I think there was a fake version at #75 in Ireland earlier so I'm sure it could do well over here as well.
