February 15, 201313 yr Foals will 100% lose out on number 1 now which is a huge disappointment. Bullet for My Valentine now looks shockingly set to miss the top 10, never imagined this would happen, i thought it was guaranteed top 5.
February 15, 201313 yr Author Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift have been announced to perform at the Brits next Weds, their singles should rebound up the chart next week. Other acts performing Muse, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard, Emeli Sande, Robbie Williams and One Direction, One Direction will be performing their Comic Relief single -_- . So its a ding dong battle between Mumford & Sons and Emeli Sande for the #1 album next week.
February 15, 201313 yr Ugh, yet another boring week of Les Miserables at #1 then. And once Emeli sweeps up at the Brits, she'll no doubt start dominating for weeks on end
February 15, 201313 yr So Les Mis number 1 this week and Emeli Sande probably owning the top 2 next week then (Live album is out Monday) <_< :drama:
February 15, 201313 yr So much for guitar music "being back", between Foals and The Courteneers. Though I suppose Jake Bugg is doing well
February 15, 201313 yr Glad Mumford are rising again. Shame that Macklemore has dropped but it's not the end of the world, might reclimb next week. Also YES BAAUER!
February 15, 201313 yr ^^Makes things look untidy at the no1 spot though lol especially if Avicii falls away next week as expected!!

February 15, 201313 yr Well bollocks, another week of Les Mis for sure then. Ah well, at least it's not exactly selling poorly and Foals will get a decent opening week anyway... Avicii and Macklemore are not selling as much as I expected, Macklemore's sales look like they might have peaked already if he's really only on just over 50k with 2 days to go :drama: Baauer at #6 already, he could climb to #3 and resign Rihanna to another week at #4 then! Didn't think he'd be that high today (or even for the whole week TBH). Gabrielle Aplin should be safe for top 5 now especially as she's now climbed into the top 10 on iTunes, I could see 'Please Don't Say You Love Me' hanging around for a while (sadly). Yay for 'My Number', could still have a chance at top 20 but #22-4 probably more likely, either way their highest peaking single. 'Skyfall' re-entering ooh. Has the film been released on DVD yet? 'Babel' back in the top 5 :o  Maybe back in the top 3 next week with the BRITs? Sadly anticipating an Emeli Sandé top 2 lockout like bad blood suggested (assuming her live album is chart eligible anyway, hopefully it will fall victim to the same rule that denied Adele and Coldplay a chart position).
February 15, 201313 yr Author 'Skyfall' re-entering ooh. Has the film been released on DVD yet? Out next Monday officially, but most likely I get my copy tomorrow through the post. :D

Wonder if they'll do a Couteeners next week though :( ? Only difference is the radio 1 airplay for My Number & Inhaler!! Suit & Tie rising due to the video then :D
February 15, 201313 yr If guitar music makes a comeback, it won't happen in the space of a few weeks, it'll probably gradually happen over the space of a few years. Exactly, you can't expect "guitar music" to come back within a few weeks of a revival, the popularity of guitar music will probably build and build until it gets to a certain peak in a few years.

I don't see a problem with Emeli charting. Its being marketed as a CD Adele was marketed as a DVD. Coldplay was marketed as both and the record company chose which chart they wanted sales to go to (as they are allowed to).
