June 22, 201312 yr The continued support of AlunaGeorge is incredibly bizarre (it was one thing taking a chance on 'Attracting Flies' but after that never really happened I didn't expect this). I guess they decided they'd go for some indie appeal and chose AG to be their flagship.

This incredible song's been out + ignored by them for weeks in favour of some pretty old (and sometime awful) toonage. WIsh they'd stop playing Domino though, it's beyond ridiculous by now.

To be fair, it's not as bad as it used to be, they used to have 40-50 songs shown on the playlist on their website, loads of songs I liked, I ALWAYS got excited first, then never, ever heard them and started to get pissed off. :lol: Now it's just a few, but I really think if they don't intend to play songs like Harlem Shake, Pompeii, etc. they should just be honest about it. On Galaxy or Radio 1, they have their songs that are in high rotation, but there's also loads of songs they just play a few times. For example Moves Like Jagger was not playlisted by Radio 1, but it was still played a fair few times. I'm not saying I wanted to hear Harlem Shake every two hours for 6 months, but it was a big hit, and I haven't even heard it once on Capital. :(

I think it varies from region to region (as strange as that sounds).
