I listened to the breakfast show this morning (radio 1 were playing Taylor Swift and 1D) and they played David Guetta's 'Play Hard' TWICE...in the space of an hour, that and the presenter had the cheek to say that this track was better than the Alice Deejay original!! It really annoyed me ha! Gawd. First someone claiming Bon Iver 'Skinny Love' to be insipid, and now some Capital presenter claiming Play Hard >>> Better Off Alone... WHAT IS HAPPENING

August 16, 201312 yr Same Love just isn't very radio friendly is it? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the song and the video made me cry, but I can't see it getting much airplay. Hope I'm wrong though. I doubt Capital will play Made In The USA, unfortunately. I can see it being off the playlist in the next month or so.

They played it at 4am this morning and at 2am the other morning. That's all I can find checking the "last 10 played" option on their site. In the last 48 hours alone they've played Roar, I Love It, Can't Hold Us, Wild, Burn, Wake Me Up and The Other Side at least five times each. Literally every time I check a new hour they've got one of those songs on the list.

I know its rediculous how many times they play the SAME song so many times yet again today and yesterday the breakfast show played 'Play Hard' from David Guetta TWICE in the same show...if it wasnt for Nick Grimshaw I would listen to radio 1 but now I go between Capital and Heart but if I hear a song that's been played too much I just listen to my iPod instead :lol:
