August 22, 201312 yr Capital's playlist is seriously so random. They've had Neon jungle on the playlist for a good few weeks and have played it ONCE. Yet some songs arn't even on the playlist and they've played them 10 times over.

Yeah, this happens all the time. Their playlist isn't really a good way to determine what they play. I know full well they're not going to play DJ Fresh's song either (at least not in the day-time), no point in getting excited over it. They ignored Trampoline and Harlem Shake too. I haven't heard Jack either.

August 22, 201312 yr Capital definitely played 'Harlem Shake' a lot at nighttime at least. Not sure about daytime because I never listen to Capital during the daytime.

There's songs that are very successful in one specific area of the music industry. Call Me a Spaceman is known by millions, it's a hit. Hardwell is probably very rich right now. :lol:

Isn't it strange that Capital have playlisted it but not Radio 1?? I think the tracks ok but it might be a grower but Capital will probably relegate this to evenings, I can't see this being played on daytime...not when they have to play David Guetta/Avicii/Armin Van Buuren every other hour :lol:
August 23, 201312 yr Right Here out before Waiting All Night. Ouch. It peaked at 16 or something so clearly its a flop :rolleyes: They didnt have a number 1 album or anything!! At least they are jumping on the Sean Paul/DJ Fresh bandwagon now they are top 10!

Hardwell is probably very rich right now. :lol: That symbolises the problem with capital its all pop during the day and underground stuff at night BUT at least radio 1 try and introduce new songs through daytime shows even if they dont chart highly!!
