I've decided that the song is also probably my favourite of the year so far as well. it's always in my head. :wub: (not like there's a lot of competition though, most things released this year so far have been *meh*)

This is just awful. Sadly for Amelia, I can see the album being just dumped out on the shelf in a Parade style mess.

So I love her, 'You Bring Me Joy' was one of the best songs of last year and 'Shut Up' was really rather great too! I didn't like 'Party Over' to begin with, but it's growing on me! :D

 

Love that she can make it to 5am on a night out :wub:! I don't like her hair when it's shorter though, it looks so much better when it's longer.

had this stuck in my head all day, I'm hooked on this! don't understand how no one else is getting it, it's really catchy and dancey, while 'you bring me joy' just seemed to be quite monotonous.

 

THANK YOU for posting this Doug, I really can't grasp the sickly love for YBMJ. To me it was one of the worst debuts I've heard, and people call Party Over repetitive?!?

 

Definitely her best single for me, shame it probably won't do as well but it deserves to.

I quite like the bits just before the chorus, and the chorus itself is quite catchy, but the verses are super weak imo.

 

Also not a fan of the album title.

I'm loving this now. It's no 'You Bring Me Joy', but it's a great song. I've seen it a lot on the music channels, so I'm hoping it doesn't flop as hard as I'm expecting it will :(
