Woop for Olly, Fleetwood Mac and Drake in the singles chart. Pretty boring set of mids otherwise.

 

Only a 6.5k lead for 'Bad Blood', hopefully that means Stereophonics are just doing really well. They still have #1 in the bag anyhow as Stereophonics will be more frontloaded than them.

I was so pleased to see Mirrors go number one last week, now it's looking very likely to stay there this week too! Just Give Me a Reason looking to out-peak Try, would love for it to be the massive hit people have been predicting. Bloody hell at Fleetwood Mac at #14 - is this just because of an iTunes price reduction? :o Nice to see a return for People Help the People too, I think it's peak was something like #33 so in for a chance of reaching a new peak this week.

 

Bastille will certainly be number one this week, it's just a shame Dido has dropped to #4 as it would be a brilliant Top 3 (I love Emeli Sande's music but I'd much prefer Dido finishing off the Top 3). Perhaps 30-40k for Dido, 30-40k for Emeli Sande, 40k+ for Stereophonics and 50k+ for Bastille.

Emeli Sande can do one. Fed up of the woman and would still be even if she wasn't pushing Queen Dido down. I still scoff at the fact people on here have actually COMPARED the two artists.

Really hope Justin can hold on. It seems the music channels have started playing his Brits performance as there is no video. I've seen it twice today. Can only help.

Sales are always dreadful outside of Q4, they're likely to be relatively healthy this week with Mother's Day (which probably accounts for the vast majority of Brian's sales and those are only going to increase as Sunday approaches, so expect him to climb a few over the week).
