It's nice to see 'Boomerang' do well even in spite of the indifference it seems to have had airplay wise. I really love the song anyway!
I think Boomerang will peak at #03 unless it somehow manages to get to number 1 on iTunes. It should start dropping quite soon as I could imagine it being heavily downloaded.
id say boomerang will be heavily downloaded whatever happens lol. But yeah probably will be front loaded. It could be no1 in the mids but should be no3 by sunday!!
Nicole's on daybreak tomorrow, so maybe she could climb to #01 on iTunes afterall. I think if she climbs to #01 on iTunes she will manage it overall... only 19% to go.. Lol.

Boomerang is really going in the exact same direction Elephant did. People being "shocked" that it did so well despite a lack of airplay, will trail off and peak at #03 and then fall out of the Top 40 rapidly.

The next single and album will most likely bomb too. Shame.

Is she performing on Daybreak?

Maybe, although I think Nicole is in a much better situation than Alexandra, since she's in the media a lot more and I think she could get Radio 1 support for her next single if it's not so bubblegum next time.

Also, I think Mona Lisa Smile could be a hit for her in the coming months. It's incredibly catchy, and fits in well with the current mainstream music scene.

I really think the thing that hurt Alexandra was that she changed record labels.

Or the fact that Heartbreak on Hold was just a really shit album? :kink:

I don't really like Elephant or Let It Go either. But they obviously would've been fairly big hits if they got the radio support that, say, All Night Long got. Her new record label doesn't seem to be capable of getting her on the radio. Either that or they weren't confident enough to put money into promoting her.

Her début era is most certainly her strongest. Especially with the video for Start Without You. :kink:

:offtopic:

Azealia Banks and Rita Ora seem to be having an argument over Twitter  , Azealia always seems to be in the media for arguing with someone... you would think her label would release something to capitalise on the hype around her lol

It's a shame that AlunaGeorge aren't even in the Top 100, I genuinely thought they would be a Top 10 contender. I can only hope it will climb throughout the week but I doubt it now.

it might do a Rudimental - Hell Could Freeze and be forgotten about and taken off iTunes after a few weeks :(

Was Hell Could Freeze ever on iTunes in the first place? I've heard the song in a lot of different places, so I think it's quite well-known. Same with Aaliyah by Katy B/Jessie Ware, I think that might've charted if it was up for paid download, and been a long-running #83 hit or whatever.
