Posted March 25, 201312 yr 0AqbL7o3ikE This is the new StooShe single, their 4th from their delayed debut album, and is released on the 13th of May. I am loving it's old school vibe and seems to be possibly their most instantly infectious single so far. There is no way, in my opinion, that this will flop 'Waterfalls' style, and I can see Radio 1 supporting it, however, how do you guys think it will do?
March 25, 201312 yr This sounds really good on first listen! Unfortunately, I can see this missing the Top 10 (but still Top 15) and spend the same amount of weeks in the Top 40 as Love Me did. Really hope I'm wrong though, and I hope the album will be a success (at least the same sort of success as Little Mix' album) despite the very delayed release date.
March 26, 201312 yr I really wish I liked it but its just bland. I'm sure it will come out in 'The Big Reunion 2023' that Stooshe weren't happy with the song choices but they're record company were forcing them to do it to try in vain to emulate the surprise (but deserved) success that Black Heart was.
March 26, 201312 yr It's a great song, but it depends on whether radio will support them after that FLOP waterfalls

I know Stooshe wanted Waterfalls to be released though, I read that it was meant to be a double A-side too because they loved both Waterfalls and another track, though that never seems to happen.
March 26, 201312 yr I actually like this on first listen! I think its success will largely depend on how much radio get behind it. With the right radio support I don't see any reason why this doesn't have a shot of #1, or at least Top 3.

Yeah, double A-sides don't really work in the digital age, I don't know why people still bother with them!
March 26, 201312 yr I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this is a #1. Of course, this depends on if Radio 1 actually playlist it after the disaster of 'Waterfalls' and if all the hype hasn't evaporated in 6 weeks time. It's so excellent, I'm addicted and I don't even like these girls.
March 26, 201312 yr Really not sure about this one - a little too safe perhaps. Radio 2 will love it ... not sure about Radio 1 though. The remixes might save it ...
March 26, 201312 yr Reminds me of Never Can Say Goodbye by Gloria Gaynor, it's pretty good so I could imagine it going top ten...
March 27, 201312 yr I've changed my mind on this. It's grown on me lots and I think with a sufficient amount of airplay, it will be a decent hit for them (although not as big as Black Heart, even if it did hit number one). I've noticed the top comment on the YouTube video is "P!nk, Rita Ora and Alexandra Burke" and it is actually uncanny how each member looks like one of these!
March 27, 201312 yr I'm unsure how I feel about this song. It's another solid single from StooShe, but it sounds like an amalgamation of their previous songs and it just doesn't excite me at all when I listen to it. As for predictions I can see it being a low top 10 hit (no higher than #7) and falling quickly or one of those songs that hangs around outside the top 10 for a while but never makes it in the end. March 27, 201312 yr Why is it that I want to really like Stooshe but I just can't. It's like this song seems to build into a magnificent chorus that just doesn't seem to arrive. Nice enough Motown pastiche but I'm still not won over sadly......
