Holding up very well, maybe it could even repeak officially in the next couple of weeks!

 57. Gabrielle Aplin - Please Don't Say You Love Me (and #139, Piano Version #275)

Apparently the piano version of this was used in Hollyoaks tonight, great to see it have such a big effect!

Calvin Harris feat Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love  #6

I think Lethal Bizzle might get a new UK chart peak when he releases "They Got It Wrong" on Sunday. I thought Lethal B had beef with Wiley though? maybe im wrong.

(I suspect he meant Ding Dong the Witch is Dead! - which is #188)

Yes, that's what I meant. Thank you!

Calvin Harris is unstoppable at the moment, wow! What an incredible era for him. I'm still hoping he brings Thinking About You out  That would be an amazing summer anthem! Have a feeling this may be his last single from 18 Months though, but who knows..
Apparently Daft Punk's single is coming out tomorrow. I wouldn't've expected it to do much, but looking at how SHOCKINGLY well the album is doing on pre-orders (#5 on iTunes with a month to go til release!), it seems demand is quite high, so maybe the single could make a splash? *shrugs*

Its their first 'official' release since 2005 is it not? They'll definitely be enough demand for top 10 I'd imagine. I'm just hoping this revival of all things random and all artists retro ( :D ) that 2013 has been so far continues and I wake up to see Daft Punk at number 1! :P

It's B list on Radio 1 and been on the playlist for a good few weeks?

Where is it in the radio chart though? Being B-List on Radio1 doesn't mean great radio play. Obviously it's great to make their playlist though, and is probably the main reason it's now top 100.

Yeah, Radio 1 is the only reason the song is top 100 imo. Before Radio 1 were playing it, it was just hovering around in the top 1000. I wish Capital would play it, that would boost it into the top 40 for sure. Never thought I'd see the day when Capital would be so reluctant to play a Rihanna song!

Yeah, they must've done, because I've got a song on my phone called "Lethal B Diss" by "DJ Furious ft. Wiley & Riko".

It's not the first time though. 50 Cent dissed Alicia Keys in an interview and had an argument with Dr. Dre over their headphones last year, then releases a single featuring both of them!

I could be wrong on this (as I don't listen to it much) but I'm sure Capital HAVE been playing 'Pour It Up'. Not sure about daytime, but it's always getting mentioned by some of the presenters who do the later shows.

They sometimes play songs like Clique and Adorn at night time, so they might play Pour It Up then. I don't know what use it is though when probably only 10,000 people are listening or whatever.

I listen to it a lot, and I've never heard it in the day-time. I hear We Found Love regularly still though.

They have a habit of mentioning things and not playing them too. When there's media stories about people like Drake and Kanye West, the Capital FM presenters always talk about them, but they never actually play their songs... They spend 5 minutes having people text in suggesting names for Kanye's baby, and then they're like "Now we'll play Die Young by Ke$ha". Why don't they play his songs if they talk about him so much. :drama:

There's nothing I'd love more than for Daft Punk to be a surprise number 1, but realistically I'd be happy with a Top 10. It was supposed to be out on iTunes at midnight, but I still can't find it. Hopefully the record company has had some sense knocked into them & have delayed it until Sunday.

Still I can't believe how much hype their gettng at the moment. Number 8 on the albums with RAM pre-order, and Discovery is at #30. :o

 37 Tonight I'm Getting Over You - Carly Rae Jepse

 34 Let Her Go - Passenger

Both of these are complete minsteries as to why they rise all over sudden but I love it!

It's on the Capital FM Playlist, so it definitely is being played, though they don't divide the playlist into A, B and C List so I don't know how much it's being played.

:ne: #2 Daft Punk - Get Lucky

:o :o :o
