LOL at people 'outraged' by double standards. The played the Pro-Thatcher song that was actually anti-Thatcher-so that should satisfy lovers and haters and didn't play the completely anti-Thatcher track because it is in fact incredibly distasteful and the sends the message that just because Thatcher was cold and heartless, we all should be too. I like to think of myself as a better person than Thatcher but there you go. At least it wasn't no.1.

To be fair, what Ben Cooper said was that it was inappropriate to play 'Ding Dong' in the context of her recent death, but before she'd been buried. If you follow that logic, the Notsensibles track obviously doesn't relate to celebrating her death, which places it in the same category as other political campaign songs like 'Defenders Of The Land' or 'War' by Ugly Rumours, which were also played without comment.
