It has happened. Lady GaGa's Telephone & CeeLo Green's Forget You both had two versions in the itunes top 10. I don't think it's happened recently.

No, Telephone didn't have two versions top 10 (the highest it got was #3 + #11, then the bottom version started falling).

Other songs which actually did it that I can remember are:

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

Adele - Rolling in the Deep

Adele - Someone Like You

Emeli Sande - Next to Me

Forget You - Cee-Lo Green

Yeah, I heard about that. Was it a Club Mix or something that people were buying because they couldn't get the original for some reason? I also remember someone saying Bleeding Love had two versions in the top 10.

In For the Kill almost did it (but like Telephone the 2nd version only got as high as #11).

All Night Long by Alexandra Burke probably would've managed it, but the album version got removed on the Sunday where the Pitbull version got released (I think if it had been left on they might've been top 10 together briefly).

Chris Malinchak's progress so far is almost identical to Duke Dumont's (I'm pretty sure he was exactly #11 plus a second version top 30 at this time). Think he'll be on for similar opening sales to him. Hopefully a bit higher. He's not gonna get #1 now though, 'Get Lucky' is a better song but still a bit of a shame.
