Perry, just thought I'd let you and everyone else, clearly know the album has leaked! I've downloaded it! Not had chance to listen to it yet, but I'm hoping to at some point tomorrow. So excited.

Listening to the album now. I had no interest in them before but I just heard Counting Stars. Absolutely stunning. It's the first UK single as well.

 

Something I Need is a bit of an anthem.

This has reached a new peak in the UK this week #25 and 'Counting Stars' looks like it could be a #1. Rebound!

 

Still my album of the year by quite some distance.

I bought this album a couple of weeks ago and it is brilliant! :wub: 'Something I Need' and 'Preacher' are definitely stand-outs for me along with 'If I Lose Myself' and 'Counting Stars', but the whole album is great! It sort of reminds me of Leona's 'Echo' which is another consistently brilliant album and of course has that Ryan Tedder influence too!

This album made me a fan :D

BURNING BRIDGES. It's almost identical to Good Life but sounds incredible. Gives me so many feels :cry:

I Lived is potentially the next single in North America which is also good ^_^

Went to see them last Sunday - managed (incredibly) to get to the front row :D The concert was amazing and I've found a brand new love for I Lived - really think they should release it in the UK next too.

 

Weirdly though, when they performed on the Voice earlier, they decided to perform Counting Stars...pretty peculiar choice, I thought they would have at least gone with If I Lose Myself as it's more recent...

Something I Need is officially announced to be the X Factor winners single choices of Ben and Fleur.

 

Bit of a surprising choice. I think this will definitely suit Ben more than Fleur.

 

Could see this getting pushed as a single now too.

I actually don't really think it suits either THAT much, it suits them both well enough (the choral aspect for Fleur for example) but it's a bit poppy for Ben imo. It's a good enough winning single for both though.

I lived is a great song and performances on the X Factor final should surely improve the disappointing number 29 peak it has so far achieved. Native, the album has been on the chart for so long bouncing up and down the whole time but it is an album i feel myself believing has sold way more than it actually has, this album deserves platinum status at the very least.

Just to divert attention from The X Factor talk a second...'Counting Stars' and 'Love Runs Out' have been two of my favourite songs this year (yes, I know the former was a #1 last year). Would this album be a wise investment in the January sales? I wasn't a fan of OneRepublic before now but I love the sound of both the singles.
