Their last album peaked at #8 and that had L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. which was a top 20 hit from it, they haven't had a hit single from this album. Their album before that (which similarly didn't have a hit single) peaked at #16! It's an amazing album anyway, love Noah and the Whale so much!

But this is a MIDWEEK #8 so will end up far lower. 'Last Night On Earth' stayed in the chart for ages so even without a hit single I would have expected this album to outpeak it.

Yeah, it'll probably end up lower than #8, but without a hit single, after being away for two years not many people other than their fans/people who follow the charts would even know they are back. So I'm not surprised myself, it's a shame, but hopefully their next single does well and boosts the album (not holding my breath though).
Noah and the Whale seem incapable of having two successive good eras, I thought with the way that radio clung onto the follow-up singles to "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." that they might have picked up a few more fans.
Totally forgot Little Boots much delayed second album is out this week, I may have to get that!

I hope that can hold on to the top 40, shame her career went totally down the U-bend.

I like her songs far more than her - she's just got ZERO star quality about her.

Definitely talented, she should write a whole album for/with Kylie, it'd be such a good fit.

I didn't know her album was out this week, hopefully when I go to iTunes now it'll be like £5.67 or something as I've bought all the "taster" singles from it...

Edit - Should have been £6.99 but for me it was £6.00. The version of Shake is a different time to the single & Headphones isn't even on it!

I think the other tracks I got free from her website but I've paid for them now!

Caro  hope she gets that number one, I hadn't anticipated the Rudimental album being so successful saleswise! Low for Noah & The Whale but the buzz that they gathered last year has completely died off for some reason :(

Wouldn't have thought Rudimental had a slight chance of getting a second week at the top!

Savages at #17 in the albums so far - well done to them :D

Carly's down to #37, hopefully she can climb by the end of the week
So great to see the Alison Moyet album doing so well. It's a huge change in direction and easily the album of her career.

Thrilled that 'Get Lucky' is looking to stay ahead of 'So Good to Me', the latter is really not #1 worthy for me. Great to see 'Fast Car' re-entering - I like how this and 'Iris' both re-entered quite close together in 2011 and have done the same in 2013.

I do hope Caro Emerald does debut at number one, 3k gap doesn't make me entirely sure. Great start for the second to fourth new entries, although no doubt they will fall a bit during the week (and probably Emeli Sande overtaking! :P).

After life goes on it seemed like they were becoming one if Britains biggest bands but support for this from radio 1 & 2 was minimal even when radio 1 playlisted them they didn't seem to want to increase their plays by keeping them clisted for 2/3 weeks!!

Seems we are destined to have re-entries for Iris & Fast Cars in the chart as long as there are talent shows dominating weekend tv in this country!!

Blue's album is #40 :o OUCH. I think the Les Miserables album might climb top 5 next week, with the DVD out on Monday

Higher than I thought, to be honest.

I'm surprised Chris Malinchak has kept his #2, I'm sure it'll get knocked down by Sunday though. :(

I think 'Still Into You' currently has a peak of #26, so it's great to see there is a chance it could re-peak this Sunday (even if just by a couple of places). It's not smashed the charts but I'm quite happy with its longevity. Glad that Daft Punk and Caro Emerald are still on top too.

Knife Party in the top 40 cos of the EP? Great news!!

Id say sales will be something like -

1) Daft Punk - 150k

2) Chris Malinchak 75k

3) Passenger 60-65k!

Oops, Noah probably won't even make the top ten :( Stay at #1 Caro!!! What an amazing sight to see
