May 23, 201312 yr Just posted on Facebook "fancy getting wild on SUNDAY?" so whether that means it is just premiering or will be released as OA/OS I am not sure, but either way I am excited :kink:
May 23, 201312 yr Hope it's just premering on sunday all though she does have a good track record with OA/OS with Price Tag getting to number 1 that way. Edited May 23, 201312 yr by troylovesmusic
May 25, 201312 yr Author Jessie has just confirmed on Twitter that 'Wild' will be available on UK iTunes at midnight tonight! LPcbTQfvWGA (Replaced with official audio video) Really love the start and such an amazing chorus, but the two rap verses let it down for me but hopefully I'll get used to them as the chorus is just fantastic! It sort of feels like Jessie is featuring on either Big Sean's or Dizzee's new singles due to the fact that the majority of Jessie's parts are the chorus. Hopefully a solo version will exist too. It sounds like a massive hit though! :D
May 25, 201312 yr The chorus sounds alright but otherwise it sounds pretty limp, not convinced that it needs two raps.
May 25, 201312 yr Very, very limp. The chorus isn't even up to much - and Big Sean's rap is terrible and very out of place.
May 25, 201312 yr The song isn't as bad as i was expecting. Glad she's sort of gone back to her Do It Like A Dude-esque sound as that's her only listenable song for me now. Can't see myself returning to this at all though. And the video!!? Self-indulgent all over and not even pulling it off well in the slightest.
May 25, 201312 yr I actually quite like this! I love how she became one of the Video Whores she talked about in Price Tag :kink:
May 25, 201312 yr Possibly the most offensive thing to emerge from a week which included a public decapitation and a chorus of xenophobes making me ashamed to be British.
May 25, 201312 yr There will be a version with Big Sean but without Dizzee which is the version being released in the US (and it's much better according to the source who's heard it).
May 25, 201312 yr I really like it although I don't think both rappers are needed, I prefer Big Sean's bit over Dizzee's
May 25, 201312 yr I really like this the chorus is massive and I actually liked the raps and I think I actually preferred Dizzie's rap though. The Video is a bit rubbish though they could have done more with it but hopefully it looks better in HD
May 25, 201312 yr Its quite hard to form an opinion on it in all honesty - it ellicits no reaction, its just there. I feel I wouldn't mind if I never heard this again. Not sure why it needs EITHER rap verse - it messes with the flow of the song.
May 25, 201312 yr First listen... Hmm. It's different for her. I think it's going to take some getting used to for me as I'm not liking it too much at the moment (not going to give up on it, as she's one of my favourite popstars), it's not nearly as commercial as I thought it would be. I like it in that sense, she's taken a genuine risk and not a safe, predictable song. I get the feeling that this is just a "buzz single" in a similar way to how 'Do It Like A Dude' and 'Suit & Tie' were/are. The big radio, smash number 1 hit will be next I imagine and I can see radio playing this for nothing more than the fact it's new Jessie, really (mainly Capital). But it's a bit different and a little unique. So kudos for that! Looking forward to hearing the acoustic version!
May 25, 201312 yr Sounding great on first listen, I was expecting another Price Tag/Domino so great to hear something inspired.
May 25, 201312 yr Dizzee doesn't really fit the song, but overall I like it, I'll play Us version then :D
May 25, 201312 yr I actually prefer Dizzie on the song than Big Sean is it just me ? I just think his bit goes better.
May 25, 201312 yr OK i do love the song I just think like 2 Rappers are a bit overkill... Maybe she should have just had Dizzie on the UK version and Big Sean on the US one...
May 25, 201312 yr I am going to wait to judge the instrumental from the HQ version as I am sure it will sound different, however I can tell that the instrumental is NOT what I was expecting, but right now I agree, I love the chorus which is quite Sia-esque actually and the the outro is so catchy, however having Dizzee and Big Sean is too much, and for me, neither of their verses are very good at all and I can't help but feel like it could have built up more. It sounds like a grower though and I love that she is going less safe and in a more urban direction.
