Fuse ODG's 'Antenna' EP  #68 on pre-orders!

I really hope this gets to #1 so hopefully this is a good indication of that happening.

I doubt it'll manage that  Maybe depends on how much 'Blurred Lines' sells next week (quite a lot, if the pre-order is anything to go by), and of course there's also Union J, Daft Punk and Naughty Boy

861. Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz & Ying Yang Twins - Get Low

1494. Lethal Bizzle - Leave It Yeah (Remix)

Why is this back in the top 1500?

It's over 10 years since this song! :o The first ever crunk hit! I wonder if we'll get another one someday.

13. Paramore - Still Into You

This song always climbs positions in i-tunes. I hope it will be their highest chart song. Ignorance is so far (#14).

My eyes are hurting now, it's too bright.

My eyes are hurting just looking at your sig. touche.

This post seems random and uncalled for, doesn't it? :/
 60. Stephanie Treo - I Love It

:o

I am rather surprised that it hasn't been deleted yet (unless it can't be deleted - I am not sure what the exact rules are).

I wonder if the label will move the release to this weekend? Prob not but you never know.

I don't know, but there was that fake version of Payphone which I think got to #3 on iTunes or something. But really those are just covers of the song, and it's not illegal to cover a song if got permission from whoever has the rights to it, which is why I think some of them never get deleted.

I don't think anyone EVER needs permission to just release a cover version, right? As long as they give a share of the royalties to the people who wrote it, I think there's nothing stopping anyone doing a cover version. So, presuming this randomer is giving a cut of the profits to whoever wrote 'I Love It', I don't think the label/management even have the power to demand it be deleted.

It's when someone actually samples the song that they need express permission from the people who did the original.

So the difference between fake versions which are deleted and fakes that aren't is likely that the deleted ones weren't giving profit to the owners of the song?

I think they do need permission, because I remember Glee Cast not being allowed to cover Lose Yourself. I think it's because someone else owns the copyright of the song and the recording, so if you cover or sample a song without permission it's breaking copyright.

But if a song is old enough, it becomes "public domain" and anybody is allowed to do anything with the song that they want.
