Ok, ok, J-Lo will make top top 40 for one week. I expect number #26

This. I'm not sure what LIU or SIY are, but I assume they're terrible like J-Lo's song.

Seeing as she's #21 in the midweeks and she's only climbed the iTunes charts since then, there is no way it is missing the top 20

LIU = Live It Up (J-Lo song)

SIY = Still Into You (Paramore song)

To clarify, I wasn't saying that J.Lo's song was NOT faceless, but LIU isn't supposed to be taken seriously whereas SIY is and it's still weak imo.

In an ideal world, neither would be anywhere near the top 40.

Week's still young and BGT is now in the past!

Ok, yeah, those songs are very weak. Paramore's is Steps-lite.

Michael, how about discussing some music you like? Rather than keeping up with your artist vendettas......
I am waiting for GaGa and Katy Perry and maybe Coldplay to come back and smash the charts like crisps on a carpet

Incorrect. In an ideal world, Paramore would be banned from the charts. :heehee:

I am wating for backstreet boys to come back and smash.

And I'm waiting for Sophie Ellis-Bextor to do the same, but the likelihood of either of these happening is nil.

Graham Norton and that concert on Saturday are in the future though :D

To quote Emeli's masterpiece: "if the truth has been forbidden then we're breaking all the rules."

I hope she gets a boost by Sunday from Graham Norton.

Seeing as they seem to be one of the few acts you like, there's a rate of their singles going on in the indie forum you might wanna take part in :magic: (casual plug, but no worse than what's discussed atm)

Anybody that quotes Emeli Sande will also be removed from Buzzjack

:hitler:

I seem to remember that when 'Can't Be Tamed' (the song) was released, a performance of it made it climb from around #15 to #4 on iTunes didn't it (before dropping at peaking at #13)? Was that due to a Britain's Got Talent performance? I seem to remember it was but I've just thought about it and wasn't sure.

'Can't Be Tamed' would have made the top 10 in the Official Charts had iTunes not made a mistake. I remember Itunes released Lena and Miley Cyrus a day late. I actually think Miley was a lot lower than #13 on iTunes before her performance, I'm sure it was around #22-25. Pixie Lott - Turn It Up had one of the biggest impacts, jumping from the 40's to the top 10.
