I don't get why BGT has performers on that have nothing new to promote. It's such a waste of a slot. Last year they had LMFAO promoting old material and now they have Ellie Goulding promoting old singles. Yeah, 'Explosions' peaked last month or something but surely there's other artists out there who have fresher material who could be doing with the attention? And I see PSY is listed for the finale. Yay. Expect him to do 'Gangnam Style', since we haven't heard that in ages.

This year is crazy so far. Another massive seller at number 1. (I'm guessing somewhere between 160 and 180k). Could have the entire year end top 20 selling over 700k at this rate

BGT performances are famously poor. I mean they blew the budget on Jennifer Lopez of all people, as if that'll entice viewers.

Ellie's performance was amazing, glad her songs are climbing a lot! :D 'Halcyon' is back in the albums top 10 too, well done to her label for getting her that promotion!

A waste of a slot from whose perspective? Surely not Ellie Goulding's or her record label's, since we can see the effect it's having on her sales.

 

Most major artists wait until the last few months of the year to release new albums these days anyway, so it's not exactly like there's a huge queue of people wanting spots on Britain's Got Talent, they're NEVER going to be able to attract the type of guests roster that X Factor has purely because of the time of year.
