I forgot about Skepta's Amnesia song. It only got to #164 in the charts.

Do you remember his first chart entry with the "Rolex Sweep" song which never blew up like other novelty songs?? that somgs was kinda lame & forgetable.

I see what you did there. :kink:

It's one of my favourites of his though. I don't know why it did so bad, I think maybe Radio 1 didn't playlist it (he doesn't stand a chance without them tbh).

I love his current single with Kano, Lay He Down. I really hope it can chart. It's innuendo-filled, really summery, and top it all off he mentions Jessie Ware in it.

Yeah i remember this song, it was around the same time as Wearing My Rolex. I'm a bit surprised it didnt get into the top 40.

Good i guees im the other 1 % of buzzjack that dont "FIT IN" and im not lookin to either #OneManArmy

If there's one Skepta song I'm surprised didn't chart, it's probably All Over the House. It seemed like absolutely everybody was talking about the song when the video got released, but it did really poorly on iTunes. I was so disgusted by the video when it first came out (partly because I thought it was actually Skepta that was doing it :drama:).

Skepta's ONLY good song was/is 'Rescue Me'. That's a song which should have been so much bigger than what it actually was. :(
Nah skepta's best song was "Too Many Men" and i've NEVER seen the video for "All Over The House" and i dont intend to ever watch it at all.

Duppy was good as well, it was the first video i saw from him. Also the Prangin Out remix which he features on was good.

This video gives you an idea. I love how the guy innocently goes "If you liked Amnesia you'll probably like this".

Wow those video's are like 5 - 8 years old right?? skepta hasn't aged at all maybe he was a bit skinnier back then but he still looks the same. So you're into grime & underground british hiphiop huh?

That's a tune.

I've got a friend that's a really, really huge fan of the Streets. There was once where he was at a concert, and just when Mike Skinner was about to come on stage he needed to go to the toilet. But he so desperately didn't want to miss anything that he chose to just wet himself instead. Now THAT is what you call a fan!

Yeah, i've been listening to Grime/watching Grime music videos since i was in Secondary School although i dont listen to it as much as i use to a few years ago. Loads of people around me use to play grime songs on their phones so that got me into it.
