It got as high as 261 on 9th April

I didn't realize it got deleted. That happened with We Are Young and Call Me Maybe too, so it's a good sign.

I still predict that Jessie will end this week at #03, she will start dropping tomorrow hopefully.

38. Jennifer Lopez Feat Pitbull - Live It Up (As I predicted, if her BGT performance is on Saturday, she will peak next week)

07. Olly Murs - Dear Darlin

44. Olly Murs - Dear Darlin

55. Olly Murs - Dear Darlin

Which would be before the vast majority of people had heard it so not exactly relevant to rufcforever's point :P

Also Gotye IIRC. Seems to be a theme!

EDIT: And 'The A Team'. It's probably happened to non million sellers as well but these are the ones that come to mind

I don't think Jessie J will ever beat 'Domino'.

It may be as generic as dance-pop songs came around 2010-2012 but it was the only song by her which wasn't unbearable to listen to because of her vocals. The likes of 'Do It Like A Dude', 'Nobody's Perfect' and 'Who You Are' were potentially good songs ruined by a horrific vocal while 'Price Tag' and 'Laserlight' are just awful full stop. -_-

It also happened with Maverick Sabre - Let Me Go which is clearly on par, in terms of success, with the other songs that have been mentioned.

lol. I never realized that. A shame it didn't sell a million.

Also happened with Fireflies by Owl City and You Need Me by Ed Sheeran.

IMO she's never done anything truly spectacular, although I wish that 'Repeat' from David Guetta's album had been released instead of 'Laserlight' as it is far superior. :(

Jessie should be up to #3 reasonably soon, not far off getting there (obviously #4 with Daft Punk combined).

I agree, she really grates on me, think shes an idiot. Still don't know what shes on about saying Coconut man moonhead or whatever it is.

Moonhead is the producer - he's the guy that assisted her at the Battles in the Voice - she made reference to him.

So really its like everyone saying 'Red One' at the start/ end of the song as he slips it in when he produces

I have it as high as #197 on 11th April - it may have sold close to 2k before deletion.

I quite like Blurred Lines  It's very Dedication To My Ex-like... which probably means I'm going to love it for a month and then hate it due to being overplayed.

Why has Little Talks reappeared?

By the end of the day it should be:

1. Blurred Lines

2. La, La, La

3. Wild

Wild will be no.1 after Jessie promotes on the Voice, but this maybe a few weeks yet.

Okay 'Blurred Lines' is definitely great but 'Dedication to My Ex' it isn't. Now that song is incredible.

'DtmE' is the only song I can think of that reminds me of 'Blurred Lines' I'm sure someone with better chart knowledge can come up with something better.

Oh no :( what's going on with Kesha?!? Crazy Kids is one of the highlights on the album.... Really deserves to be top 40 !!!

Blurred Lines has always sounded like Madonna's Give It 2 Me to me, both are produced by Pharrell so no surprise I guess

No video + No Promo + No airplay = No song within the Itunes top 1500

I think her career might be over after this era

Edited by *Tim

No way is her career over after this era. She's huge elsewhere. In the US too isn't she?

Well if her career IS over (it's not) then what a way to go out. She'll never be able to top Warrior (which is sublime in EVERY way) and i can see her going back to faceless uber generic stuff next era to score another hit (</3).

Crazy Kids is slowly building in the US, but releasing the wrong material has really torn this campaign to shreds :(
