Lol nice story you just invented.

Mutya: "Unfortunately they [the other Sugababes] don't have our vocals. Well, fortunately, actually."

Was that not a bitchy comment? Some people on here are ridiculous.

So, taking things out of context ha?

"It doesn't matter who owns the name now," says Siobhán. "That's paperwork." (I take this to mean their rivals have formal rights.)

"Our music speaks for us," says Mutya.

Siobhán: "Only the three of us can write and sing the way we do."

Mutya: "Unfortunately they [the other Sugababes]don't have our vocals. Well, fortunately, actually."

She's referring to the fact that they are just different people, so their voices obviously don't sound the same. The point of Mutya Keisha Siobhan is that you are listening to Mutya, Keisha, and Siobhan, not just to someone who sounds similar to them.

But yeah, if you'd like to create drama for the sake of it, go ahead.

The47thbelmon - the last comment by Mutya is clearly a jibe!
It's definitely a dig wrapped up in assisting comments that make it seem less like one. It's definitely subtle shade from the Mutt.

I'm entitled to my opinion and people seem to agree, don't come at me for no reason. I love that they're back together and making music, I'm just calling the clear bitchy comment as I saw it.

I would put that firmly in the shade column personally. I've got to hand it to her, it's a mighty fine bit of shading too.
Where does everyone think this will chart? I was going for low top 30 before the bizarre change of release date. Now I'm going for either very low top 40, or it'll just miss it altogether. A shame neither Radio 1 or Capital have picked it up.
I see it being around about #25 or something like that. Hopefully the album will do better.
I'll settle with #56. It's a FRIDAY release with NO media support! Fanbase isn't big enough too to get it top-40 just from pre-orders.

re: MutMut's comment. I think it wasn't really shade per se. For me it's more a comment about how MKS and Sugasluts are almost completely different in style, and it'd be pretty bad if their music styles were very similar. Maybe Mutya DID mean Sugaskanks have weaker vocals (Amelle and Heidi perhaps but Jade lol no) but it was too subtle really.

Moving awwwwn tho, I think they will chart low Top 40 in their second week and will obviously miss the Top 100 in the next chart. Friday release? FUCK THAT :/

Number 17 on iTunes currently. Much higher than I was expecting!!! Makes the Friday release even more annoying...
Wasn't expecting to see it that high already! Now I just hope it can stick around there for a week or so.
Would be amazing if it went top 10 after performance on Alan Carr. Problem is keeping it steady throughout next week!

Apparently is #10 in Ireland

Edit: It's #8 actually!!

An iTunes banner would do wonders to this.

Siobhan interview:

You said earlier that you were looking ahead to the second single, do you know what it’s going to be?

I think so but I know we’re not allowed to say what it is.

Have we already mentioned it in the course of our conversation?

Yes.

So it’s not ‘Today’?

(Another silence) Oh, we haven’t mentioned ‘Today’. Well then, erm… Oh you’ve put me in a difficult position.
