Dizzee always had #2 written all over it to me.

I'm *hoping* it gets #2. But it'll probably be #3. I doubt either of them will come close to Robin.

Delighted to see Jason doing well on pre-orders, 'The Other Side' is easily one of my favourite songs of 2013, I believe it will peak around #02-04, which would be a success, ideally Dizzee would miss the top 10.

38. Bastille - Laura Palmer

45. Jennifer Lopez Feat Pitbull - Live It Up (I wonder if this could manage a third week top 40?)

72. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us (Hopefully it manages to climb once 'Gentleman' promo kicks in... I would love if this passed 400,000.)

79. Glee Cast - I Love It

102. Ke$ha Feat Will.i.am - Crazy Kids.

Alicia Keys "New Day" #237. Sadly it isn't getting much support from radio outside of Radio 1. Hopefully a bunch of other stations will start picking it up soon. Otherwise it won't chart in the top 100 at this rate :(
The Other Side is awful, it's just like a second rate Teenage Dream to me. Hopefully it doesn't beat Dizzee.

Although the 'Teenage Dream' instrumental is blatant, I wouldn't say it's a "second rate" version. As much as I love TD (it is probably my favourite Katy Perry single from the whole era), TOS definitely has a stronger and more anthemic chorus. It's surpassed 'Ridin' Solo' as being my favourite JD song - and I never thought that would happen after the diabolical DWGH and IG.

'The Other Side' sounds more like a 'Die Young' clone than a 'Teenage Dream' one to me. It's not the worst thing ever but it's not worthy of being a massive hit either.
I don't feel like "The Other Side" has been held back as much as "Goin' Crazy", so reckon it could hang around a little longer. I'm going to predict Robin to hold #1, Dizzee to claim #2 and Jason Derulo to get #4 (behind "La La La", which is still looking to sell close to 100k this week).

I think it'll be:

01. Robin Thicke - Blurred Line (feat. T.I. & Pharrell Williams)

02. Naughty Boy - La La La (feat. Sam Smith)

03. Jason Derulo - The Other Side

04. Dizzee Rascal - Goin' Crazy (feat. Robbie Williams)

I don't think either new entries are going to overcome the two monster hits at the top of the charts. But then I've never really paid much attention to pre-orders before so I don't know how much a single that is at #68 on pre-orders should sell first week.

It'll be a hoot to see "Ghetto Supastar" back in the top 40.

That's going to happen isn't it. :(

53. Radiate - Enter Shikari

Thought this would be a lot lower than this by now. Could maybe scrape the top 75 for them. They should have made this 59p like they did with 'Sssnakepit'.

 83. The Way I Tend To Be - Frank Turner

Don't like this as much as 'Recovery' but still decent. 59p really helping this out!

 92. Crazy Kids (feat. will.i.am) - Ke$ha

Coming for a third top 100 hit from this album. $ucce$$ *_*

[35] 33| Afrojack (ft. Ed Sheeran) - As Your Friend

I wonder what this collaboration would actually sound like.

Jason Derulo must love the UK as he seems to be more popular in the UK (why, I haven't a clue) than any other country in the world. Yes, his songs have gone top 10 in Australia but we're talking UK #1 here. 'In My Head' and 'Don't Wanna Go Home' were such duff tracks and this new song is no better.

'Don't Wanna Go Home' was a disgrace! Ugh.

This new one is decent in comparison.

It's like comparing mouldy cheese to sour milk imo. :P

God knows why I put Ed Sheeran. lmao.

So it looks like a Robin Thicke/Jason Derulo top 2 is pretty much certain now - the latter to sell maybe 80-90k or more possibly, so here's hoping Blurred Lines can keep up its MEGA sales for a while longer

"In My Head" is just a really, really, piss-weak watered down version of "Just Dance". God, we do let some utter shite get to #1 in this country.

I still have a soft spot for 'In My Head' (though looking back maybe it wasn't QUITE worthy of a month at #1 on my personal chart oops). I now prefer 'Whatcha Say' and 'Ridin' Solo'. He's largely gone to shit since those first 3 singles, 'The Other Side' is probably his most tolerable since.
In My Head was great, it spent 5 weeks in my personal top 2 (4 of those were at #2, thanks to Pass Out's existance) Don't Wanna Go Home was terrible, one of the most uninspired songs ever. I don't think much of his new song but it's not offensive like DWGH.
Jason Derulo's album was a fantastic debut pop album, I'm still bitter that 'Love Hangover' was not released as a single.
