I hate the fact that fake versions even exist in that they take sales away from the original, and the people who make the fake versions are making money from a song that isn't even theirs. Some kind of law should be written making it illegal to put a cover of a song on iTunes before the real version is out. However, in this case, I'd actually like it if loads of people bought a fake version and it did well in the charts, just to teach Icona Pop's label a lesson to show them how stupid they're being!

Also, Leah McFall won't be top 5 this week. She's already down to number 6 combined, behind Robin Thicke, Naughty Boy, Daft Punk, Passenger and Taylor Swift :)

I wish they would reduce Mark Owen's stars single and it needs something to give it a boost, i really did not expect this to do so badly, it is nowhere to be seen on itunes top 100, does anyone know where it is showing up?

If the record company wanted people to buy the Mark Owen single, they'd have released it before the album, presumably.

94. Badger Swagger (feat. David Attenborough, Brian May, Slash, Shara Nelson & Kerry Ellis) - Artful Badger

I don't know what this is, but I already love it. David Attenborough getting a hit single?

EDIT: Although it appears to be properly credited to 'Artful Badger & Friends' so even if it does chart his name won't actually appear on it. Boo.

The heads of Icona Pop's label are idiots. Release the song now or next week, I'm sure "I Love It" could clear 150,000 sales the first week out!

Single/EP pre-orders (album chart):

62. I Love It (feat. Charli XCX) - Icona Pop

65. Love Me Again - John Newman

66. The Another Love EP - Tom Odell

125. Wasting My Young Years - London Grammar

212. Brokenhearted - Lawson

334. Center of the Universe - Axwell

541. Four More Songs EP - Lewis Watson

542. Reload (Vocal Version) - Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash & John Martin

544. Gentleman - The Saturdays

699. Bounce - Iggy Azalea

704. Jack (Remixes) - Breach

707. Smoking Gun EP - Indiana

758. What Love is Made Of - Katy B

Indiana going for that Top 500 hit :cheer: London Grammar's EP has done amazing so far, top 40 place for them (and Tom Odell infact) should be a certainty.

Single/EP pre-orders (album chart):

62. I Love It (feat. Charli XCX) - Icona Pop

65. Love Me Again - John Newman

Oh. :(

The three big single pre-orders:

131. Walks Like Rihanna - The Wanted

143. The Other Side - Jason Derulo

172. Goin' Crazy (feat. Robbie Williams) - Dizzee Rascal

I wish they'd decide what order they want to be in :P

Yes for former Swedish House Mafia members looking likely to get hits with their future singles :cheer: Hopefully Radio 1 catch onto Center of the Universe, it's out 14th July.

So, should we all just download Venus Palmero as a protest purchase? :D

We should all instead buy "Stay Together" by Suede as a protest purchases. Because, to quote the legendary philosophers Icona Pop, "I Love It".

'Everything Has Changed' was used on tonight's Coronation Street, but it probably won't make any difference. :kink:

Wiley getting a post-album hit, I was convinced this single would flop after the diminishing returns of the pre-album singles. :o

'I Love It' fake version doing dangerously well, it ahould have been released LAST summer tbf.

Leah McFall holding up incredibly well actually. I reckon she'll climb 16-08 or 16-09 officially - Robin Thicke, Naughty Boy, Passenger, Daft Punk and Taylor Swift will bump her down to #6, while a Jessie J overtake and Olly Murs' multiple versions should bump it down to #8. Regardless, it's a fantastic feat; wonder if her semi-final boost can mirror this cover's success.

 6. Taylor Swift - Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran)

Jumped a couple of places quickly there, maybe Coronation Street did help slightly! :kink: It was probably only me that noticed it though!

'Everything Has Changed' now #3 combined as well, incredible!

Also, 26. Venus Palermo - I Love It (I Don't Care)

#04 when you combined both versions of 'Get Lucky' it's incredible that Taylor is likely to get her fourth top 10 hit from this campaign!

It really is!! And as Bre said earlier, she will now have 7 UK top 40 hits from this album! Just remarkable considering she managed 3 UK top 40 hits from the past 3 albums combined! :o

I think Taylor must now be the biggest female popstar in the UK at this current moment, even ahead of Rihanna who is yet to make an impact with 'Right Now' and didn't make an impact with 'Pour It Up'!
