I didn't think much of it before but listening to it for the first time in HQ, it sounds great! Would be nice to see Aloe back in the charts, it's been a long time since INAD.

It's alright, nowhere near as good as his last effort. I can't help but imagine the backing track is like a dance remix of B*Witched though?

Maybe Aloe Blacc will get an overdue #1 to his chart history?

Also, how did I only just find out THIS existed? I found it in the related videos, it's a lot better.

I thought Aloe Blacc would never release again

I thought the same, so glad he's going to finally be on another hit single

This is great, and very unique!! Country music mixed with dance music!
Seems like Aloe Blacc isn't being credited on this single as on Australian iTunes, the song is credited to Avicii only - and I assume it is the same in the rest of the countries it has been released in so far.
Release date confirmed as August 18th, only two months to wait then whilst it's out in the rest of the world! I'll never understand how record companies can still do this to us in the 'instant gratification' download age, yet it doesn't happen in ANY other country.

Avicii will be releasing his debut album this September :yahoo:

Avicii has announced plans for his debut studio album.

The Swedish DJ will release #TRUE on September 17, he told Billboard.

"This is about me being true to my sound but also to my own influences and musical preferences," Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) said. "This album consists 100% of songs I personally love. It's true to me, true to my brand, true to Avicii."

Nile Rodgers, Aloe Blacc, Joakim Berg, Incubus's Mike Einziger and Audra Mae are among the collaborators for the project.

The LP will be the first to be released under a new partnership between PRMD Music and Island Records.

"For me it will be successful if it resonates with people, no matter how many," Avicii added. "It's what I stand for, so whoever loves it loves what I love. That's what fans are to me."

Avicii reached number one in the UK earlier this year with his Nicky Romero team-up 'I Could Be the One'.

He will release the album's first single 'Wake Me Up' on June 25.

It reminds of Chris Brown's "Don't Wake Me Up" slightly. I like it though. An odd choice of guest collaborator, but he's not even credited for it, so I'm sure nobody will even release
The article suggests that I Could Be The One won't be on the album. Wake Me Up is the 'first single' and Nicky isn't mentioned as one of the featured artists on the album. Clearly that and We Write The Story should be on there :P

This is a little bit bizarre, bits of it are a bit bordering on country (although I'd agree with Brett that it's more folk-dance than country-dance, not that that's any less weird) which is not something I'd ever expect from Avicii. I quite like it though. MUCH better than 'I Could Be The One'.

Capital mentioned Aloe Blacc when introducing it when I heard it on there so I think he is credited. EDIT: Okay maybe he's not actually credited per se looking at Ryan's post but I think people will know anyway if Capital keep mentioning him.

It's a bit odd and certainly not what I was expecting from him, but it's still quite good nonetheless!
A fake version is top 10 on iTunes in Ireland at the minute. Also a fake at number 33 here in the UK.
Hopefully it gets released asap. Preferably this time next week as I don't think Avicii will be able to beat John Newman to #1
