I think X Factor is probably going to let their songs chart after this tbh. Since their reason not to before was that it would give away the winner I believe?

 

They might even go further than that, X Factor USA revealed the exact voting order every week last year and at the time I think I read that they might introduce that to the UK version this year. :lol: But I think they'd be better using full/studio versions like The Voice does (and American Idol) rather than live recordings.

It just further shows the music buying public really doesn't correlate with the voting public. I think Andrea will actually do OK though at least albums wise. I know it's up to the label more than the mentor but I at least feel like Danny will do his best to help Andrea along, Leanne mentioned that Tom Jones did next to nothing.

 

Controversial, but I feel she only won because she is blind.

She has a lovely voice and I would have put her in the final based on that but if she was sighted Leah probably would have won. I'm happy for her though and stupid as it sounds I'm finding it hilarious that she won :lol: They could have had a credible, current winner who would sell and yet they get a typical 'nice' voice who will have mild album success at best (this probably contradicts my previous point about Andrea doing OK but yeah).

It's good Leah has Will as a mentor, he could still launch her.

Mayeb, but on Big Brother a few years ago there was a blind guy and he didn't win even though people were expecting him to.

 

He was fine to begin with but started going weird towards the end and turned out to be a bit of an arsehole. :lol:

They could make up drama with contestents being depressed because they're low in the votes, or getting cocky when they do well, or getting jealous of others who get more votes, etc, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it.

I can't see anyone from The Voice getting a lasting career again. Leah *might* if will.i.am actually makes an effort to push her, the rest have no hope though.

I thought that was a dreadful idea when I saw it. I mean imagine finding out you're coming 14/16th and scraping through! And imagine how big headed you'd be when finding out you've come top of the votes for the last 4 weeks! :lol:

Why include 'Bang Bang' in the update but none of the other performed songs? 'My Immortal' #28, 'Hall Of Fame' #39, 'Babylon' #79, 'Angel' #97 (Andrea's version doesn't seem to have been released so 'My Immortal' is her winner's single I guess - thank God it's flopping kinda in that case).

 

'Bang Bang' did sound like a good song from the performance so quite pleased to see it smashing a bit.

 

'I Will Survive' still Leah's highest song :drama: 'Killing Me Softly' still outside the top 40 so hopefully this boost won't be enough to keep it top 40 officially.

Bre, I only included songs that were the Voice artist's own versions. I only included 'Bang Bang' as it has had a massive boost compared to the likes of 'Hall of Fame'. I never intended to bother including the original versions of the songs. It was only meant to be a quick update anyway. :kink:
