Yeah I believe 'La La La' was a bit higher at this point. Also 'Get Lucky' went pretty much immediately to #2 without any pre-orders IIRC.

Oh Joseph, you are dead to me. ABBA actually have this little thing called a legacy, you see. Which is a load of great music and a lasting impact. Loreen has a long long long way to go before she can match. (I think I need to go to bed too)

 

Of course, we could go round and round debating what the best thing to come out of Sweden is, but dismissing ABBA with that is just LAZY. :angry:

I love Euphoria as much as the next pop fan on here but it's still nowhere near having that honour, and Icona Pop certainly isn't either.

'Euphoria' genuinely is one of my favourite songs ever now (top 5!) and it's the only one to come from Sweden, so it definitely is the best thing to come from Sweden, imo. :kink:

 

One thing we can all agree on though, Sweden is definitely the country who knows how to do a brilliant, short, sweet pop song! Nobody does pop quite like the Swedes <3 (Max Martin is one half of the best mainstream pop producer, imo and he's from Sweden!)

Euphoria is EASILY the most overrated song on Buzzjack, I Love It is good, nothing too special though. I would much rather prefer Blurred Lines remaining number one!

Norway is better than Sweden since it gave us Stargate. :wub:
