It really annoys me how Matt Henry's 'Babylon' is 99p while every other contestant's tracks are 59p. It could've gone top 40. :(

It is down to 59p now...

Pras - Ghetto Superstar, Will Smith - Summertime, have been increased to 99p again, so it should start falling fast down iTunes.
oh noes John Newman is releasing tomorrow  :w00t:

[/justkidding] :D

What's the big deal about it, anyway? To me it just sounds like a cure for insomnia...

Because I'm scared it'll crossover like Need You Now by Lady Antebellum.

You say that like it's a *bad* thing. ;)

On another note, it's odd people were labelling next week "death week" when the week after has more major releases (even if you include Icona Pop in next week's schedule).

1st July

Chase & Status ft. Louis M^ttrs - Lost And Not Found

John Newman – Love Me Again

The Saturdays – Gentleman

8th July

Iggy Azalea – Bounce

Katy B – What Love Is Made Of

Lawson ft. B.o.B - Brokenhearted

Sebastian Ingrosso ft.Tommy Trash, John Martin - Reload

From the music channels, I'm assuming 'Reload' is going to be big...

Robin is down to 0.8785 now.

The Wanted are the only ones in the top 10 who are in red.

I'm always confused over how that works?

Each song must be compared to something - I would have assumed to the #1, but then the #1 would never change colour - yet it does...

I think it's compared to their previous 24 hours of sales

But surely sales aren't known - that's why Kworb gives percentages, rather than numbers?

Brokenhearted is clearly gonna have the biggest sales for a #1 ever :smoke:

I'm not sure, but maybe the sales are compared to the #100. The #1 sales can fluctuate hugely, be selling 60,000 one week and 160,000 the next, whilst the sales of the #100 stay more consistent (apart from like at Christmas), so that's what I would compare it to.

On another note, it's odd people were labelling next week "death week" when the week after has more major releases (even if you include Icona Pop in next week's schedule).

Several of the songs originally due for release on 30 Jun have been moved since that thread was posted :P

 51. Lost & Not Found (feat. Louis M^ttrs) - Chase & Status

Seems to be picking up speed a bit! Top 40 soon.

I assume Kworb tells that the #1 is increasing by seeing that the majority of the rest of the top 100 has dropped by similar amounts.

It should be the version with Leah doing this well :(

What is the actual difference? All Leah did was sing 'bang' over and over again and the vocalist on the real 'Bang Bang' sounds almost identical to her anyway.

I wonder if Lawson could be in for their first number one with Brokenhearted? Sales should be quite low in two weeks time and I'm sure around 75,000 would be enough to get a number one, although judging by their single performance on iTunes it's going to be lucky to peak top 5.

01. Icona Pop Feat Charli Xcx - I Love It 100%

02. Robin Thickle Feat Pharrell & T.I - Blurred Lines 86.7% [should be quite close on Sunday, Blurred Lines is not falling too far behind]

03. Will.i.am - Bang Bang 66.2%

04. The Wanted - Walks Like Rihanna 61.7%

Disappointing performance from The Wanted, taking into account the songs airplay it should have been a guaranteed top 3 hit, one week top 10 is looking likely!

I think the other difference is that Leah also sang the bridge as well, whereas will.i.am sings it in his version.

I'm not sure as I can see John Newman doing a couple of weeks over 100k, or at least very close to it. I'd say Lawson would need at least 90k to stand any chance, and there is no chance they would manage that in my opinion.

Yeah, Leah had like a small verse that she sung as well I think.

I've just heard 'Bang Bang' on the Wimbledon coverage so if that is being played regularly during Wimbledon, that should stop it falling too dramatically like The Wanted are at the moment!
