Posted June 25, 201312 yr Apparently, Jessie J will release 'It's My Party' as the 2nd single from her upcoming second album. The only source for this is a poster on Popjustice who says the music video for this single is being filmed next week. Another poster also says that it is the song that she has done with Calvin Harris and we know Jessie has worked with him due to an earlier news article. That same poster also says they have heard the song and says "whilst a bit generic, it's pretty amazing". This could turn out not to be true and the topic title can easily be changed, but for now we can assume this is the case. I'm very excited about the prospect of a Jessie and Calvin collaboration!

June 25, 201312 yr 'It's My Party' sounds SO painfully generic. But of course we don't know what it wil be, and with Calvin on board I think it could be great anyway, I usually like Jessie.

July 2, 201312 yr Oh god, the title and it being described as 'generic' is not boding well, especially when I wanted a more edgy side of Jess to come out this era. I am hoping it falls on the good side of generic though and it is good I suppose if it is more commercial than 'Wild' as she needs a big worldwide smash.
