I love B.o.B! I think he's really under appreciated as a rapper. I actually think he's my favourite rapper. There's a certain charisma to his rapping and I think it suits the songs he does. Both his albums have been brilliant. Why wasn't 'Both Of Us' the massive WW smash that it sounds? It's one of the biggest "WTF?" chart moments of recent memory for me. ('It's Time' not initially smashing is up there too, but that's been given a re-release so there's still time for that to be a hit!)

It's nice, but Both of Us really wasn't very catchy imo. I mean, compared to Airplanes (my favourite chart hit of 2010), which had probably the catchiest chorus ever and a brilliant instrumental too (and loads of clones of it came afterwards :lol:). I wasn't expecting Both of Us to be big like that at all. Magic missing the top 10 was more surprising to me tbh.

 

I was also surprised by It's Time not charting higher on album release week though.

Really? :lol: I think BOU is one of the catchiest songs he's released (probably behind 'Magic' :wub: & 'So Good' - I actually find the hook to 'Airplanes' quite dull and average :lol:).

I'll Be in the Sky was a song I was gutted didn't make the top 40. Radio 1 playlisted it, so I thought it had a chance. It was actually released in 2009, but they re-released it in 2011 after he blew up (kind of like Macklemore is doing with his songs now).
