DJ's seem to be able to get multiple top ten hits because they collaborate with new people on every song meaning there's a different voice on every single. I think it's easier for them to get top ten singles than the likes of Pink.

There is that, but other than Calvin Harris and David Guetta how many DJs/dance acts have had a post-album top 10 hit? It's not that easy when you're not as commercial as the 'big 2'.

I think Avicii will be able to get a post-album top 10, he's almost on the same level as Harris/Guetta. It depends on what's on his album though.

Avicii can definitely have a post-album single top 10 if he tries (even without big names on the songs).

Rihanna managed it with What's My Name?, S&M and California King Bed, and Katy Perry managed it with Firework, E.T. and Last Friday Night. Those are the only other recent examples I can think of.

Avicii has a track with Lana Del Rey on his album apparently, that would become her highest peaking single most likely if released.

This doesn't count as E.T. only went top 10 because of the Kanye West remix.

(the original question stated 'without single mixes')

That's true. Although it's so obvious that it would've gone top 10 without the Kanye West version anyway. The original peaked at #11 on iTunes.

If she's actually credited that is :P

Really? :x

Capital are playing all of Calvin's song so much because they're so commercial. If he had released Here 2 China as a single Capital wouldn't have played it.

True true, but arer capital playing Trampoline by TT? Its not commercial?!

The fact that Cedric Gervais' name appears THREE times... he wants that chart credit badly!

Yet it's still only credited to 'Lana Del Rey' on the OCC website :P (I've credited him though because I'm nice like that).

OMG......what is going on?? From being outside the top 100 yesterday to number 53 today I'm in shock and I'm glad I'm not the only Lana loon on here, well this track anyway

If this goes top 40 my year will be complete

But that's pointless, as the original version is also charting simultaneously. It's like a CD single having the original version plus a bunch of remixes on it. Would you credit the name of one remixer for the whole single entry just because people liked that one more?

I credit Cedric because it's been released as 'Lana Del Rey vs. Cedric Gervais'. If it was just 'Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)' then I wouldn't credit him.

:cheer: This has officially now had its last Grimmy RotW boost though :( Fingers crossed it can just hold up now even without that helping it. EDIT: Oh it was #42 earlier oops.
