The Wanted sold over 75 k in their first week, are you sure that 1D will sell more in 6 days? They need 13k per day, so if Avicii is selling right now 3 times more than 1D, how many copies he will sell this week 200k? 250k? Is this possible in his second week?

Yes they will beat Walks Like Rihanna's sales, no question at all. Their EP is what most of their main fans will be buying and that's number 2 on the Albums Chart, beaten only by Now 85 which is a massive seller.

I really doubt a song with 'Baby' in the title will benefit from the royal baby's birth. Justin Bieber's Baby for example is not about a baby.

There were all those songs at the time Baby Love, Irreplaceable, Hate That I Love You, With You, etc. which sounded similar. I think because of the indie domination they probably thought they all had to do songs with a bit of guitar in. :lol:

What's going on with this song? It was released over a year ago, but didn't do much in the chart (I think went top 100 on iTunes for like a day last autumn or something). It's always been top 1000, but it's been top 200 for over a week now, which is unusual. I'm wondering if Heart FM has been playing it. There was a Jessie Ware remix of it done recently, but I doubt that's what's boosted it for so long.

I'm ignoring the name Professor Green on "Are You Getting Enough?" and just celebrating another T75 hit for Miles Kane. By the sounds of it, all Green did was ask to rap over a Miles Kane demo; and then decided to release it in an attempt to receive praise from NME (in fact the whole album is supposedly for that purpose).

 

I do quite like the track, but the production is too heavy over Green's rapping.

 

What this about his whole album being to impress NME? I thought he already received an award for them anyway, I think Jungle won their award for biggest club hit or something.

Yeah, it's great. Glad she released something more up-beat this time too, but she needs to stop releasing Mariah Carey-esque songs lol. The Way almost went top 40 with minimal promotion, so I think it could've done well. I remember it going quite high on iTunes, but it had a mid-week release.
