I do love surprise chart climbs like this - well, when they're not by novelty acts *cough*PJ&D*cough*. :puke: Now for Avicii to remix 'National Anthem' and for it to storm the charts. Joking - Avicii should stay well away from Lana, she might lose a credit.

I love National Anthem!

Poh poh who would have expected Summertime Sadness to look like becoming the album's biggest hit!

Out of all the album's songs, that's one of the last I would have expected. I wanted National Anthem and Blue Jeans to smash, but not quite.

Too late, Avicii and Lana have already done a collab, which may or may not be on Avicii's new album

I really like that on first listen  one track for my personal chart. :D

lol. They way it's going, I can see Lana Del Rey in 5 years time going the "Usher route" and forgetting what music she got famous for and releasing nothing but dance songs.

168. Major Lazer - Bubble Butt

Oh gosh, this to stay this low please.

Or Beyonce can sample this song too and get it into the top 20.

Yeah, Climax really was a huge dance anthem.

If only he actually stuck with 'Climax' style songs instead of immediately going back to crappy dance-pop. 'Climax' is still his best song.
Well at least he showed SOME diversity last time. I actually loved his album for the most part, Scream was probably the worst on it.

Meanwhile over on the albums chart...

 189. Dust Clears (Remixes) EP [PRE-ORDER] - Clean Bandit

:cheer: :cheer:

Unpopular Opinion Alert: Scream was a lot better than Climax.

This. Plus Scream brings back loads of great memories of last summer. Climax is just bad.

Sorry for nitpicking again, but the album's biggest hits were Video Games and Born To Die (so far of course, let's see what Summertime Sadness brings but I don't see it that big), both #9 hits in the official charts.

This. It reminds me of being on the beach in Spain last year  Climax I just found pretty dull in comparison personally.

Climax doesn't do anything for me, I just find it boring, I do prefer 'Scream', but 'Euphoria' which never got a release (baffling!) is better than both imo.

I've never really liked Climax or Scream, Climax is at least a bit special. I preferred Numb which was a big flop in the UK.

I think I may have to agree. 'Climax' was fresh from the vocal to the instrumental. But then with Diplo it was always going to be fresh. I do like old-school Usher but yeah 'Climax' is most probably his best song. 'Scream' was just atrocious and made Usher go back down in my estimations.

I really hated 'Climax', I found the vocals completely awful and unlistenable, and the lyrics made me cringe far too much.

'Scream' was better, but not a patch on the three hits from the album before.
