She's really not as bad as people made her out to be. :( Feel sorry for the girl. </3

No. She is. Not sure what the story is there her comment on the photo was interesting about Jemima though.
Sallie was and still is vile, so glad we didn't have to put up with her past the first week, especially at the expense of Gina.

How, though? You saw a week of her, and all of that was hour edits. She went in, got settled in, had a bit of trouble with Gina, but that seemed all smoothed over by the end of the week. She had high suspicions about Michael throughout the week, which was just hilarious (mostly the hissing in the living room). The first week would have been difficult for all of them, it was just unfortunate for her that she was the housemate the public took to least, and thought was "vile" because she stood out from the rest of them as the one who wanted to know what was going on, and confronted people.

Completely agree with this, after all Gina and Dexter were both hated on the first week as well and look at how popular they are now, I think it would have been great to see other sides of her character emerge thoughout the process. Thinking about it in that first eviction, if they had not changed it to vote to evict and it was vote to save, I reckon Dexter would have been out for certain, quite funny now that he is one of the front-runners to win, just shows how much the changing of vote to save to vote to evict has changed the whole outcome of this year's show.

Indeed. It really is a shame that we missed out on seeing all of her character, because she was one of the best they had this year (even if we did only see a week of her), and it would have been great to see her doing all sorts of different tasks, getting to know the housemates on other levels, and how she would have handled it had she stayed, and Michael went. I agree that if it had been vote to save, Dexter probably would have been out. He had a handful of fans in week 1, but that was just because Sallie was the one that people were targeting to evict.

Sallie was entertaining for all of two days before she started being just awful towards Michael, whom she didn't know for DEFINITE was an actor. If he wasn't acting, would it have been acceptable? She's just a vile person, as proved by her appearances on BOTS since then, and I won't be disappointed if I never saw her face again.

The fact is he was an actor though. She wasn't the only one who was treating him like that, too. Dan had very high suspicions as well, and he thought he knew for definite that Michael was an actor (which was obviously correct), but to say Sallie was the only one...? She may have taken a completely different approach to Dan, but she was merely just trying to suss him out, and to try and get the truth from him (as silly as that was, because why would he tell her when it's his job?).

Hopefully there's more BOTS appearances from her next year! :D

But my point is that what if he WASN'T an actor and she was just throwing these accusations around to an innocent guy? Dan did take a different approach to Sallie, hence why he came out of it better than she did, lol.
Her eviction interview, her tweets and appearances on BOTS since being evicted show that there are just no other sides to her. She thinks she's god's gift, when really she's a tarted up mess. I don't think she was any loss to the show from what we've seen, she seems to be very one dimensional in her aggressive bitching and self-loving. I don't think anyone will realise she's not there on Monday anyway, she was only there for one week so she's not really very relevant to the series.
Sallie is the definition of a 'dirty ass skank'. She was entertaining as she was confrontational but I couldn't have tolerated her past the first week. I mean imagine if Gina went over her :o

It's very easy for all of you to say that because she had one bad week, she wouldn't have been tolerable beyond that week, but she wasn't given any time whatsoever to progress as a housemate, or come out of her shell (more so than she already had done), and open up as a person. I reckon if she had stayed, and you had got to see beneath the layer of 'confrontational, slutty and loud-mouthed', some of you could have tolerated her, but I guess there's no telling you. :kink:
Well, there's no way we or you can possibly know that, so we can only judge by what we've seen - and on every appearance after the show (where she could've progressed outside the house), she still came across unnecessarily aggressive and cocksure that she was the most entertaining one in there.

No, people are saying that even after that week she's been nothing but vile. Her eviction interview was horrid and her appearances on BOTS have been shameful too. And using the "one week" arguement, how did you form such a close bond to her over such a short time  (especially given how bad she was in that week but even without that)?

I was actually responding to Liam's post (in regards to whether or not she would have been tolerable past the first week or not in the house), so I think my point is still fairly valid. But OK, if we're talking about what she's like on the outside - I can't say she's ever seemed too sure of herself, or unnecessarily argumentative on BOTS - she's just like any other panellist that they have on there, and she's not any worse (in fact, she looks like an angel next to him) than Iain Lee. Her eviction interview really wasn't that bad either. The crowd were the worst part about that. How do you think she's going to respond to a lot of people chanting 'OFF, OFF, OFF' at her, with such a boisterous personality like hers, and also feeling what she must have been feeling at the time, I don't think she really would have been taking everything in.

Asking how I formed such a close bond with Sallie in the time that she was in the house is asking how you can be such a rabid supporter of Sam now. We all like different housemates for different reasons, and I guess I just liked Sallie an awful lot, and had a tonne of respect for the girl because she wasn't afraid to stand up for herself. Yeah, she was a bit wild at times, but that just added to her charm.

My defining memory of Sallie will always be how utterly tactless she was. She approached the Michael situation in a way that was always going to guarantee eviction, and I remember it took ages for her to properly understand the twist once she'd been evicted (she was still shouting at Michael even though it had been explained he was an actor). She was a brilliant housemate to lose in a twist really, because whilst a lot of week 1 was about her, she was already getting tiresome, and probably would have gone the following week anyway.

I don't think you can compare loving Sallie in 1 week to loving Sam in 9.

But, take off the loon glasses just a second because her eviction interview, or more horrifically, the Michael interview - it really was terrible and highlighted all the worst parts of her personality. Even Hazel, who is possibly the most cold, heart-devoid housemate that's been on in years, showed a warmer side of her personality in the interview. Sallie came across incredibly brattish, continually calling an actor fake (?!). I'm not even sure what point we're arguing now though, it's basically us saying Sallie was vile, and you saying she wasn't. And there's not much to go off seeing as she was only relevant for a week.

Most evicted housemates had OFF chants. None reacted to it like she did.

I think it's pretty fair to say she had the worst of the chants, but I suppose that's guaranteed with such a poor eviction crowd (as they have been all throughout this series). I don't think it really matters how she responded to it either, because at the end of the day, her time was up, and she just had even more of an impact on the series, and that's one of many memorable moments. It's not as if she personally harmed anyone with what she said in the interview either, and the way she reacted to the crowd's chants.

lol you people are WEIRD. By people I mean Calum. Public DID change their mind about Gina in just under 7 days! Why would she get saved over Dexter though? So please don't tell me Sallie didn't have time to show off all sides of herself.

She really was rude, loud and pretty dumb, wasn't she?
