Some of those songs should've been removed months ago (and Moves Like Jagger shouldn't be on the heart playlist in July 2012 let alone July 2013 :drama:)

I hate Capital and the way they introduce every old song as though its new and fresh, about as new and fresh as my socks!!

The only show i lusten to is the breakfast show for the reason I don't have to suffer Nick Grimshaw and usually half asleep anyway so its ok!

It's a shame because the evening music is so much better, they just need to stop playing 6 month old songs on heavy rotation, but then I guess that's what they're about

I know right!

'Up next we got the new one from Calvin Harris'

Me: Ooh.

Adverts over and ... 'I need your love...' :| 'New one from Macklemore' Me: Ooh. 'Like a great white shark on shark, like the city can't hold uss'

Do they also have to say they LOVE each and every song?

'Love new Carly Rae Jepsen, even better than CMM'

'Love it, even better than ...'

No. We all know it's not.

The Heart playlist is my version of MUSICAL HELL!

The Heart playlist is my version of MUSICAL HELL!

Hmmm. I honestly can't *quite* figure why that might be :heehee:

I copied Ryan's update from above, and for Jason, he's not credited on the website but thanks, I'll edit him in for both! :D

Yeah 2 Chainz wasn't credited on 'Trampoline' either on the Capital playlist last time I updated so that's why I didn't include him. :kink:

Moves Like Jagger??! WAT

It's still in the top 50 and/or YTD top 50 on radio airplay too. They had I Gotta Feeling on their playlist for 2 years.

Heart is actually considerably less repetitive than it used to be though. I don't know if anybody else has noticed too.

Moves Like Jagger finally removed from the playlist, two years after it was released.

The Heart FM playlist is an absolute joke.

:cheer: Glad they added OneRepublic's "Counting Stars"! Maybe Capital will playlist them next week then! Ah, so happy for OneRepublic ^^
I couldn't believe it when I heard Wake Me Up on there the other day. Heart rarely ramp the pace up from 'MOR'. It actually looks more relevant right now than it has done for years!
'Wake Me Up' is far from the least MOR hit of the year though to be fair :P
To be fair, I'm not sure they've had Moves Like Jagger constantly on there since release. I think they might have recently re-added it because it sounds good in the hot weather. I mean, I listened to Heart a lot at the end of last year and don't think I heard it once, so if it was on the playlist at the time they must not have played it much! (I may be wrong so feel free to correct me)

I agree, I'm not at all surprised they're playing it.

I was surprised in 2011 when Heart started playing Dynamite and Only Girl, but I expect that now.

I'm pretty sure it's been there the whole time. I don't think them removing it will make much of a difference anyway (as in I think they'll continue playing it as much as they did before).

Can I just ask what the point of this and the Capital playlist threads are other than to bitch about them? I don't care if songs are supposedly 'old' TBH. I like the mixture of 80's and 90's stuff on Heart as well as recent stuff.
The R1 playlist thread receives more than its fair share of bitching as well (despite being by far the best and most interesting playlist).

Nevertheless, pulsating trance synths are hardly the usual Heart fare!
