Yeah but more the fact you said it's his ONLY good song. His hit rate is phenomenal.

The new one has to be big too.

Mm maybe Take Care too, but that's as far as I'll go.

Really glad that Radio 1 are continuing to snub The Wanted. I think they've out-stayed their welcome in the music industry imo. If their music wasn't enough to turn me off, most of their personalities are vile. :puke: I don't understand why someone who seems as decent as Siva (is that his name?) would be in a group with the others. Hopefully they'll chart at #11 this week but I do get the feeling that they have top 10 on lock - especially with them being #6 in the midweeks.

Reading back through this thread I think people are getting a bit delirious about GaGa being over/no longer relevant - Maybe GaGa has already reached her career peak that is impossible to sustain forever [it happens to every female artist - Britney, Madonna, Cher, Mariah, Whitney, Beyonce etc,]

What everyone needs to remember is that up until Monday/Tuesday 'Applause' had not even been heard let alone have any airplay, there was no single pre-order either to boost its initial iTunes position so the fact that its reached #2 on the iTunes chart and #11 on the midweek chart after 7 hours on sale is rather impressive - Added to the fact the album pre-order hit the top spot too - Not something I see other 'big' acts achieve on a regular basis.

I'm sure everyone will compare Katy's new single to GaGa's when it gets released but that has had a proper build up, a single pre-order which is Top 40 already...

Avicii is climbing so he may very well end back up at 2. There is not much between them.

There's no doubt that 'Applause' is doing incredibly well. People are just saying that she is no longer as successful as she used to be (which was inevitable considering she could do no wrong back in 2009/10). If anything, it's more the fans that are acting as though she is over with worry that she's already decreasing - I mean, even if she is, to get to #2 in the first place is more than any other artist (bar Adele, Rihanna, possibly 1D and Katy) could do.

I have a horrible feeling this could be one of the longest threads in Buzzjack history...and it's still only Wednesday

Not happy Arctic Monkeys are falling, they were number 5 yesterday and now down to 8, as long as it stays top 10 for Sunday as they've not had one since 2007 and these two singles have been excellent!

I think that many people spend their time for Gaga when U.K has the best singer all over the world!! I just saw her live performances on X-Factor and all of them captivated me.. I hope Run will be a million seller very soon!!! One of the best covers ever!!!

 Hopefully she'll blow us all away when she releases her Christmas album too, though I'm sure she will :D "Run" should make a million in a few years I would think. Perhaps sooner if it keeps getting reduced to 59p. :D

The last update was 0.6 of an hour. The one before that was 2.4 hours!

When is Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" getting released?

It's pre-order is  to #90

Don't count Gaga out just yet y'all! She just needs to continue with these green updates until the release of the video on Monday! :bounce:
Anyone else concerned 'Same Love' isn't going to take off? :( It's still at #150.

I am as well. Can't Hold Us peaked ages ago, they should've moved on to Same Love by now.

I don't know, but I saw it at #1 on Australia iTunes a while ago, I hope it can do that well here.

September 15. I actually think this could be a near-certainty for #1

Well 'Talk Dirty' going to #1 is preferable to Jessie J having a #1 hit with one of her weakest songs to date 'It's My Party' so I'd support that. Although ideally Sub Focus would outsmash both of them but that will be lucky to go top 10.
Interesting that Jessie J has been playlisted this week while Jason and MKS haven't. It seems she'll have more of a head start with airplay so will probably peak the highest. It reminds me of Sep 4th(?) 2011 all over again.
