Gwon Matella.

I think Gaga will now debut at #4 behind Ellie, Avicii and Miley. Fairly confident she'll make up enough ground on the rest to get that high this week.

I'm READY for Klangkarussell to get #1 next week. Loving 'Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine)' so much now  Hopefully Katy doesn't pull her release forward to next week because then they actually will be fucked, can't see Katy missing #1 like Gaga has, she has a lot more going for her.

My life is over. :snif:

Think, Suit and Tie (which was much better than what came after) or Saturdays with smaller first hits and massive follow-ups.

We'll do it ... next time!

Aaand.. suddenly the thread takes a depressive turn.

"CLIMB GAGA CLIMB, ohno she slipped a place this is the end of my life"

Matt Cardle & Melanie C - Loving You #200 on pre-order

Maybe top 10 next week then?

This NEEDS to happen! It's about time we had a Spice Girl back in the charts! Have a good feeling about 'Loving You' too - Think this could hang around for a while and be a decent sized hit especially as pre-orders seem healthy and Matt and Mel have decent promo lined up!

'Loving You' does very much sound like big hit material, I'm not surprised it looks set to do decently. Seems to be getting a fair amount of airplay as well. It must also be set to be one of the biggest self-released singles ever, possibly only behind the 2 Macklemore and Ryan Lewis singles? IIRC self-released singles couldn't chart until 2007 or something. Might be wrong.
Loving you gets better on every listen. It actually does deserve no.1 tbf but I'll be happy if it followed Jealousy and Moves like jagger in becoming a surprise hit all the same :D

I don't think that Gaga can really be that bothered about getting a #1 single anyway, otherwise she would have released Applause in October to guarantee a high placement. She likes to get high charting singles but her priority is to make her music accessible to her fans.

I think Katy and her team seem to time her releases perfectly in the UK: enough time to build up hype, but not too long for interest to be lost. That's why the majority of her pre-album singles have got to #1.

 3. Applause - Lady Gaga

Fair enough I say.

Lady Gaga has begged fans to boycott the leak of new track 'Aura' from her upcoming album ARTPOP.

Her new song titled 'Aura' was leaked online on Wednesday, and shared by a host of fans who were eager to get their hands on new material ahead of its official release.

The audio is a demo form of a song expected to feature on ARTPOP but Gaga has urged fans to avoid the new track.

Gaga petitioned to fans on her LittleMonsters website, asking them not to share the unofficial demo.

When a fan asked the singer's opinion on the leaked track, she replied: "Please take these [links] down as much as possible."

Sure, if it was for her she'd give away her music for free. <_<

Combined PopBars

09. Ray Foxx - Boom Boom [Heartbeat] 26.4%

10. Robin Thicke Feat Pharrell - Blurred Lines 23.9%

11. The Wanted - We Own The Night 23%

12. Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home 21.5%

Looks like The Wanted will drop out of the top 10 on iTunes tomorrow, if it freefalls too much, I think it might peak at #11

It was a demo hello.
