Radio 1 gave it a great review during their review show and MKS have been to Capital for an interview so there's a chance both stations will get on board (Radio 1 are more likely) but I can understand why you'd be worried. I think there's a stigma attached to them unfortunately as "ex-Sugababes". If they were a completely new band with none of that history, they'd definitely get support with 'Flatline'. I guess time will tell.

Yeah and the video is released on Monday so fingers crossed it get some airtime on the channels and does the rounds online!

One hour to go until the Mel and Matt single is released! Hope it's a hit - It's about time a Spice Girl returned to slay!

YES YES YES YES!

SPICE GIRLS FOREEEVEEERRRR!!!

*what a vocalist!!!*

As a long time Mel C fan (through the Spice years, solo success years and Flop c years) I'm stanning hard for Loving You. Gonna buy both Loving you and Te Amo, but from Amazon cus it is 69p on there #cheapskate

That video of Viva Forever for me perfectly shows the real reason Geri left, she was just pointless and useless live and she knew it. The other 4 I'm sure had the plan to become a big time touring band, playing live more often and touring more. Trying to gain credibility and to make the Spice brand one with more about it than just catchy songs and marketing.

That was never Geri and she knew her limitations, I'm sure she left part way through that tour as she just felt like a spare part and rightly so.

I think that Melanie C deserves some success with this. She's never been my fave Spice Girl but I must admit that 'Think About It' was an amazing track and it didn't have any impact on the charts, what I think that is quite sad because if Jessie J or Katy Perry would have sang this same song, probably it would had been Top 10.

So fingers crossed for Matt and Mel.

To be fair she didn't have any main lines in 'Viva Forever', so she didn't really have very much to do during that performance.

Geri did express that she felt like she wasn't needed anymore, but I think there were quite a few factors as to why she left when she did. The growing animosity between her and Mel B wasn't even subtle towards the end - on Mel B's part at least, who was openly rude to her on more than one occasion during filmed interviews. Geri never lost her cool with her, on camera at least. I think that feeling of being unwanted is what drove her to walk out of the tour. Touring must be quite lonely if your band mates are giving you the cold shoulder. I think if everything had been ok between them on a personal level, then she would have stuck it out for the rest of the tour, regardless of her abilities.

[sorry this is completely off topic, and as a chart mod I should know better. :kink: It's only the last 20 minutes of this thread before a new one anyway. COME ON MATT & MEL etc. ]

Mel B probs had enough of her shitty vocals. I know I'd have flipped if I had to listen to Geri sing live night after night :P

The sweetest thing ever would be seeing Mel C ahead of Lady Gaga on Itunes, that would be me life made.
