95. Britney Spears - Britney Jean

Pre-Orders are SMASHING for her *.* (Genuinely thought she'd not peak much higher than Top 80 for the pre-order).

I do not look forward to having to type out Elvis Presley's album chart history for next week's chart show thread

Best get started now - that way you may just have finished by Sunday! :P

Eminem's album doesn't seem to be out until Nov 5th, so although he'll certainly have done a lot of pre-orders, he's still going to have one day's less sales then other albums, so don't be surprised if he's not number one in the first mid charts of the week

Eminem will EASILY be #1 on the Wednesday update.

-x-

An all new Top 3 seems quite definite, with the The Wanted making #4 being a big possibility. Andre Rieu is #1 on Amazon and The Overtones is #8 so I think those two will make the Top 10. Shane is currently #82 on there (:heehee:) so I think that may miss out on the Top 10 officially even if it does make it on the midweeks. I'm quite sure Avril Lavigne won't be Top 10 officially too if Goodbye Lullaby made #9 with a much bigger lead single.

The Nation's Favourite Elvis Song on ITV on Friday should help respective album go Top 20. Would be nice if David Bowie could re-enter there too.

Eminem at #1, #2, #17 and #82! :o

Officially slaying all bases!

The one in the 80s is the first Marshall Mathers LP from 2000 :P

 Silly me! The fourth version is actually at #300!

Why are there 4 versions?

There's an explicit standard/deluxe version and a clean standard/deluxe version.

172. The Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll Songbook - Cliff Richard

Cliff Slaychard has returned to slay us all again *.* His 100th album release according to a quick Google. Another great summary to look forward to for my album chart posts in the chart show thread.

Robbies going to flop isnt he??

I wouldn't have thought so. He hasn't done any big performances yet (not that I know of) so his pre-orders will increase after that and Robbie seems more of a physical seller to me. Must bare in mind his last studio album managed 83k to debut at #1 which is lower than he's opened with previously so I wouldn't be too surprised if Swing Both Ways entered with lower sales. It will still sell well up until the New Year though, possibly have a few higher weekly sales than what he manages in his first week.

Hopefully, yeah physicals have went up to 68% again these last 2 weeks as we enter the physical selling time of year!

Also consider the sales climate: Even that 83k would guarantee him the no1, there will be not competition. In my opininon Swing Both Ways will manage heavy sales and should be a no1 contender for every week of 2013 following its release. (even if it does end up at no3 most of the times!) Then again there is almost no promo yet and he has a lot coming up in 2013! I fully expect this album will sell much more than his previous one regardless if it is the better one or not.

Hopefully, yeah physicals have went up to 68% again these last 2 weeks as we enter the physical selling time of year!

Sorry if this is a daft question but how do you know that?

It shows the physical download breakdown in Music Week each week its mainly 37-40% downooads but the past 2 weeks that's went markedly down to 30-33%!!

Thanks for that. At what point would you expect to see the percentage return to the 30-33% mark?

X Factor Effect

842. Robbie Williams - I've Been Expecting You

1132. Céline Dion - A New Day... Live In Las Vegas

1241. Robbie Williams - Sing When You're Winning

Celine Dion will easily get her 11th Top 10 album, most likely entering the Top 5. Would be funny if she entered at #5, just like previous two English-studio albums Miracle and Taking Chances and previous official compilation My Love: Essential Collection did. :P

A quick look at this week's new releases in the Top 200:

008. Lady Gaga - ARTPOP

009. Céline Dion - Loved Me Back to Life [Deluxe Version]

020. Little Mix - Salute [Deluxe Edition]

049. The Killers - Direct Hits [Deluxe Edition]

067. Céline Dion - Loved Me Back to Life

114. Little Mix - Salute

121. Keane - The Best of Keane [Deluxe]

155. The Killers - Direct Hits

179. Keane - The Best of Keane

Lady Gaga will easily be #1, Eminem will be #2, the Top 5 may compile of Celine Dion, Little Mix and James Arthur (hopefully in that order) with The Killers probably making the Top 10 and Keane perhaps making it too. There's a few really strong physical sellers - Alfie Boe, Daniel O'Donnell and Russell Watson - to look out for.
